Hi! I followed this guide and now my fan doesn’t wanna blow out air. The rotating thing works where the fun can move but it’s not pushing out any air. It also says “f2”. I looked at websites and they said to off and unplug the machine for 60 seconds and if still not working, repeat for up to 3 times. Can you help?
I’ve never seen that issue with mine. I’m sure F2 must be a code for some type of system issue. I would figure out what that code means first . Then I would take the top off(the air multiplier) inspect everything to make sure you reassembled everything correctly.
I had an F2 error also after cleaning. F2 means their is insufficient power to the fan motor. I checked all the wiring that I could see but it seemed fine, and there are no visible connectors. I had no idea what to do, so I took apart the plastic housing which holds the motor. There is a connection plug inside, which is also inside its own little black box. It seemed fine, not loose at all, but I disconnected and reconnected it (also i don't know how it could get loose as the box surrounds the plug). Anyway the fan motor started working again, so I don't know if it was the plug or just a result of moving the wiring around as I was fiddling with everything. I think the message is be very careful how you handle the wiring when cleaning and make sure it doesn't get pulled.
I’m wondering this too. I did it about an hour ago and I have it angled downwards with a fan blowing into it. I’m nervous to use it tonight. Will a couple hours with a fan blowing into it work or should I leave it overnight?
