Our Resonator Delete Pipe Kit removes the heavy and restrictive factory resonator assembly on your Volkswagen Atlas 3.6L VR6 and replaces it with our high flow, straight-through exhaust section. This adds a deeper exhaust note and brings out the "Wookie growl" in a simple, cost effective way without replacing the entire exhaust system. The resonator delete creates a drastic increase in exhaust growl and creates a more exhilarating driving experience, without adding significant drone at cruising speeds.
• Our in-house designed and engineered resonator delete pipe is made of durable T304 stainless steel 1.25mm wall thickness CNC mandrel bent tubing for straight-through exhaust gas routing

They’re quite practical IMO. Shorter than a 4 cylinder, and not much wider depending on the one.

@@4.6slidez They had to have been replaced already at that mileage. They normally fail around 130k if not replaced. Mine jumped one tooth on the chain when it happen so I got lucky

Wait a minute....a 2019 Atlas with a V6 is actually a VR6 engine?
VW has badged cars with 24v VR6's "V6" since the they came out in like 2001.
Yup.
The marketing dept. decided that it's much easier to sell vehicles with V6 than a VR6 badge. Besides, VR6 is a mouthful, and it's a headache to explain the design behind it.

VR6 is not a V6 by any stretch of the imagination. VR6 - VerkürztReihen6 - Or Shortened InLine6 in English.

@@ibexthegoat3112 LOL. You are wrong mate. VR6 is like the IL6, which has a 6-pin crank throw vs a 3-pin crank throw for the V6. If it has a common crankpin, like in the V6, the piston bottoms will hit each other as the cylinders move up and down. Because the V between the cylinders is too narrow 10° or 15°. The narrowest V6 is 60°. VR6 block is straight-up just like the IL6, not a V block. The cylinders are bored in staggered narrow 10° or 15° V formation. Unlike the V block engine, there's no valley and banks. Just straight right up block. Unlike the V6, which has 2 cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, the VR6 has 1 cylinder head, intake and exhaust manifold.

Listen we both know you copied and pasted most of that reply and my guy your wrong, its a v6 the pistons are positioned in a v and there are 6 of them regardless if it has one or 2 banks.
Second of all because its not traditional dosnt mean its not... example the i8 is 4 wheel drive but the front wheels are in no way connected to the rear wheel... yet its still 4 wheel drive.
Its a v6, the VAG group have been marketing and selling it as one from the mid 90s, I don't know what else to say to you apart from I guess sue the vag group for lieing to their customers... I wondnt hold your breath for winning tho.

That's because it's heavy. Put that VR6 in my Golf R and the sound will match the performance!
How fast does a family wagon need to go? Yes the 115 limiter sucks but when the family is in the car it's slow and go all day.
Here's all the v6 3rd row SUV's that make less than 300hp and are all a few tenths of a second within the 0-60 of the vr6 Atlas:
The Honda Pilot 3.5l v6, the Nissan Pathfinder 3.5l v6, Toyota Highlander 3.5l v6, Mazda Cx-9 3.7l v6, Dodge Durango 3.6l v6 and Kia Telluride 3.8l v6

It sounds sooo good but that VR6 is just barely enough to get the wheels turning on such a heavy vehicle.
the 3.6 in the q7 with quattro is pretty nice, def no trackhawk but 300hp and torque makes great power to all wheels
I just bought the 22 Atlas for the wife and its so underpowered. Looks great. Hope I never have to outrun anyone or anything 😂

Be honest with us. If you actually rev the vr6 out to 5k rpm through first and second it hauls ass. The Atlas might not feel peppy, but just rev it out and it hauls ass! Feels rock solid at 115mph steady. Might not have much "shove" in 8th gear, but I'd expect anything above 6th to be for fuel mileage only

I mean...everything? It's slower than any other vehicle in its class that I am aware of. Even the 4-cylinder models like the Ford Edge and CX9. Even larger stuff like the V6 Durango. It's just...weak.

Have you looked into purchasing the Porsche Cayenne coupe GTS? They the same size and have a bit more horsepower

Put it in sport mode, and shift normally. Rev to 5k rpm in first and second gear, and you wont be complaining about power

so, since you have to cut the old section out, if you were to file a warranty claim on your exhaust in the future, the dealer may make a note that you have it modified. however, unless improper installation of a performance part causes your failure or an aftermarket part is the direct cause of your failure for warranty claims, it will not be voided.

I used to have the V6 Passat, now I have an Atlas, the exhaust routing/configuration is a bit difference between them. so I doubt the same pipe will work, but any exhaust shop could make a you resonator delete pipe.

(2021 atlas vr6) yeah just put this kit on, shocked he got all this noise from a resonator delete. that car in the video has a modded muffler. im a 8 year vw tech. i did not i stall it wrong. very simple cut and paste work. added nothing but a very very faint grumble. very faint!! dont lie in the videos. now i gotta go get a new muffler to get the sound in this video. not a big deal but dont lie to sell product ecs.
