Us respecting him did not get him this far, his cooking ability did, and he was chosen as captain for this reason. The advantage was given to him, not Thea, so ultimately it's his call. After all, this is a competition at its core, and I don't blame Thea for thinking about herself and getting out of the pressure test, but I also don't blame Aaron for thinking the same. If she didn't agree she should have said, "No" and made the vote not unanimous and Aaron would have cooked as well.

Was it unfair? yes. Considering that it was mostly his fault they were so far behind. However, I can't fault the guy for saving himself if his team mates agreed to it. If anything, I fault Thea for being dumb and agreeing to it instead of having him cook. All she had to do was say no instead of crying.

I was hoping Aaron would show character. You would expect a big and strong guy to take responsibility, but instead he cowered out. He even said in the beginning he is "prepared to cook". To me the will to win is character, it's why we watch these shows since there are winners and losers. The drive to succeed should be held in higher regards, that's why competition shows exist to succeed and to see success. Aaron was the worst and the only reason I kept watching. I wanted to see him go down after watching this episode. I am really a nice person, though, because I hated it when he was eliminated.

I was hoping Aaron would show character. You would expect a big and strong guy to take responsibility, but instead he cowered out. He even said in the beginning he is "prepared to cook". Props to Alisha for having such great character, but also to the rest of her team for being good sports. Trevor is oozing confidence and that's why he won. Yeah I feel bad for Thea, but at this point crying every second episode seems tiring. Aaron, despite being a big guy, inside you are tinyyy

To me the will to win is character, it's why we watch these shows since there are winners and losers. I think he shows amazing character that's why none of the other team members could say no to him being safe.
Why would I respect someone with character who lost like the other lady? It's cool she wanted to win the moral victory, but she lost like how Aaron lost later on. Only difference is Aaron got a job from one of the judges for his character.
The drive to succeed should be held in higher regards, that's why competition shows exist to succeed and to see success. Everyone should strive for the top position without that there is no show, people like the lady losing after giving her safe to someone else makes good television though. There's nothing wrong with saving yourself in a competition like this, I'm pretty sure you would do it in a heartbeat if given the chance

Aaron was the worst and the only reason I kept watching. I wanted to see him go down after watching this episode. I am really a nice person, though, because I hated it when he was eliminated.
If I saved a nickel for every time Thea cried, I would have saved enough money to gift her a truck load of tissues.
I would not expect anyone to give up the opportunity to save themselves in this competition they are competing and there are so many opportunities that can open up for them and change their lives, why would you sacrifice that to risk going home?

When someone does something that you can't do and it seems off its easy to channel your negative energy, mock them to feel better about yourself. When you see a newbie doing something and you understand what they're going through you'll give them constructive feedback. Atleast keep your mouth closed, she's up there you aren't. If you were so good in crticizing people without bullshitting you'd be the judges but you're not. So idk whats going on in your household but if you're gonna take the time out of your day to share a nasty comment about someone you've never met, purely over their over-emotional tendencies, then you need to look in the mirror and sort your life out because there's clearly something wrong

Thea should of just said it's not unanimous and made Aaron cook. Already watched this season, Trevor takes alot of risk and he's cocky but he backs it up with the confidence and skills.
