No u are not wrong...infact she is always snarky and mocking at anyone's slightests of mistakes but cant handle even a single comment not in her favour.. I'm glad she didnt win...she didn't even deserved to be in the finale...she should have been kicked out way early in the competition.
@David Ruprecht She wanted to save herself, she wasn't thinking about other team mates (Trevor) at all. She said she deserved it in the confessional. Like Aaron said, saving another would not pay his bills, and though he is selfish for that, he is correct. Us respecting him did not get him this far, his cooking ability did, and he was chosen as captain for this reason. The advantage was given to him, not Thea, so ultimately it's his call. After all, this is a competition at its core, and I don't blame Thea for thinking about herself and getting out of the pressure test, but I also don't blame Aaron for thinking the same. If she didn't agree she should have said, "No" and made the vote not unanimous and Aaron would have cooked as well.
@David Ruprecht And the captain that DID save Barry not herself, she got eliminated in this very pressure test... which just proved my point. She was and is an amazing chef still, but had she chosen herself this round she would be safe.
@David Ruprecht My final point, Thea saved herself in the tatine round later in the competition stating, "Unfortunately, I would never give up my opportunity to be here" or something like that... (again don't blame her, I would have done the same [but so did Aaron])

Was it unfair? yes. Considering that it was mostly his fault they were so far behind. However, I can't fault the guy for saving himself if his team mates agreed to it. If anything, I fault Thea for being dumb and agreeing to it instead of having him cook. All she had to do was say no instead of crying.

@@salimpasha6011 Late reply, but Paulo is saying Thea had to say no to the vote being unanimous. If the vote isn't 100% all in agreement, Aaron would have been forced to cook too and would not have been safe. So, yes, Thea was being an idiot.

Totally selfish, his entire job was supposed to be centered around leading his team...and he lost. So the first thing he does is start making excuses as to why it is OK to leave them standing. I would never want him on my team, much less a lead.

My answer back is that society works because a large percentage of us do the right thing..not because of a law, but because it is the right thing to do. I was hoping Aaron would show character. You would expect a big and strong guy to take responsibility, but instead he cowered out. He even said in the beginning he is "prepared to cook". Props to Alisha for having such great character, but also to the rest of her team for being good sports. Trevor is oozing confidence and that's why he won. To me the will to win is character, it's why we watch these shows since there are winners and losers. I think he shows amazing character that's why none of the other team members could say no to him being safe.
Why would I respect someone with character who lost like the other lady? It's cool she wanted to win the moral victory, but she lost like how Aaron lost later on. Only difference is Aaron got a job from one of the judges for his character.
The drive to succeed should be held in higher regards, that's why competition shows exist to succeed and to see success. Everyone should strive for the top position without that there is no show, people like the lady losing after giving her safe to someone else makes good television though. There's nothing wrong with saving yourself in a competition like this, I'm pretty sure you would do it in a heartbeat if given the chance
