A short video to show you how you can make a set of simple sequences to create some great sound on the Volca Keys. Of course this may also be applied to other similar sequencers.
@zerobeat2020 Yes please! To be honest I've had my Volca Keys for years but never really got to grips with it. I'm a guitarist really but I love synths too but after trying to figure things out on the Volca, it's just so easy to go back to guitar.
@@amylou7991The Volca Keys was my first hardware synth after many years of not playing much at all. It is a remarkable little instrument and I am sure you will start using it sooner or later!
You can switch on tempo delay so it automatically syncs to your tempo. I find the delay very basic but also nice because it adds some bit reduction which makes the sound breathe, even at a very low feedback setting. This is an incredible little box full of surprises.
When desperate for step-recording I use Active Step to isolate the step I want to affect. Then I just move the active step to the next position. Repeat until unnecessary. :)

Hi, thx for sharing this video. When I try to make the similary short base sound, in record it subtain to long even if its cleary short when i press?? I try playing with the VCO VCF LFO and EG but I got same result :( anyone know what can cause a long press when record ?

Yes, you can certainly use a separate MIDI sequencer to record a sequence on the Keys, but not sure what the point would be other than being able to use then use the keys its own and recall the sequences from memory.
