Centurion (part of Starcraft conversions) was the coach works, in White Pigeon, MI...the C350 started as an OEM F350 Crew Cab (long bed), cut-down and the Bronco rear added. TheRe was a C150 that started as a standard cab and was stretched. There was no 3/4 ton version offered. It was sold through a Ford dealership and is all OEM bits! The roof has polyester filler, so CHECK THAT for rust and delamination. Centurion made several other models not made directly by Ford like a crew cab F150 and the Van-nosed pick-up "Cruiser." The upfitterer was sold to "Southern Comfort Conversions" and then ended operations in 2009 after the nation-wide 2008 financial fiasco. I had a '90 C350/Navistar-IH 7.3L Diesel, 4x4. It was incredible and was sold for a good price to an enthusiast that planned to run it on waste cooking oil. I bet the actual mileage here has a 1 or 2 on the left end of the odometer that cannot be displayed.
I really love the 460. I have a carbureted one in my 1985 F-250. It starts instantly no matter how cold and goes int a super smooth almost silent 500 rpm idle. SO reliable.
I remember the day I was at the county fair and they were showcasing one of these. The excitement was palpable and people were literally going crazy to check it out. If my memory serves me right $39k was the price. Pretty sweet ride with some exciting history.
Sweet find. Bronco was the last to retain the removable roof. Hell yeah, that's the best part of that truck, and the 460 1 ton 4x4 solid front axle with extra doors. I love it
Centurion was the conversion company. These were converted from a donor chassis and oem bronco back end grafted. Sold at ford dealers just like the more common conversion vans that centurion offered. Dont remember what they called these f- series crew cabs that were converted to 4 door broncos... I sold the vans new and that was in the early 1990s... well done vans ive only seen one of these in person.
I'm a chevy driver who has 3 suburbans but these are Hella cool and Hella rare. I don't understand why they didn't make a ton of these for Ford folks as suburban alternatives. I think the Excursions are badass but I prefer my burbans
Wow, what an epic surprise! That F350 Ford Centurion 4-Door Bronco is a beast, and seeing her reaction was priceless! Great find on FB Marketplace, love the classic look and that 460 engine roar!
I think this is one of those situations where the husband buys himself something and says it’s for the "wife". It's ok i've done it before with a bowling ball.
Thats a great ride , it looks like a 89 , 90 model , i had a f 150 new in 89 , but it had the conservative 302 which was great on gas pulling a pinto race car . Keep us up to date on the progress of this hotrod
I used to travel for work in the area where these were modified, and drove by their factory in White Pigeon, MI many many times. I always wanted one, but the bank account never allowed for that.
Great find Greg have you ever looked for an old Ford maverick My great grandmother used to have one it was I nice classic till it sat too long on the lawn and rusted out😢
i just found your channel. i used to watch you race. I laughed way harder than i should have when you said you found Marketplace.. I knew what you were gonna say next.
That is cool, your wife is lucky. Mine only got a new Lincoln Aviator. I haven’t seen a Centurion in 25 years. I always wondered why Ford never made a 4 door Bronco back then. What’s a bit amazing is the size difference between that F350 and the new F250, I think.
@@mikelliteras397 They are seriously cool. A few TH-camrs putting 4 wheel drive under them. I would love one. With all the suburbans sold in the US, you think ford would have jumped in.
I didn't realize until now, this video I'd watch a few months ago, this is the guy organizing or atleast sponsoring, getting going, the Hurricane Helene Damage helicopter Relief aid
I was going to look at this 4 door bronco a couple of days ago and was told it was just sold and I’ll be damn if Greg didn’t come out with a video showing his wife he bought it for her. I was a few hours short but my bad
Haven't seen one of those before. Was this an aftermarket conversion by Centurian for Ford? Seems like I've heard that name before in aftermarket stuff. Hey Biff, just find your channel today and subscribed. Used to love to watch you and Mikey on your Speed Channel show. Think it was This Week In NASCAR. May have the name of the show wrong but it was a great show. Schrader was on there alot with you guys.
Drop it off at Fat Fender Garage in AZ and get a Coyote Swap with a 10 speed, modern A/C, updated dash, sound system, brakes, new leather interior and a nice paint job and she might like it.

She holds her excitement very well it is a awesome vehicle what a great find
little different definition of pristine than I generally would use
“Not a speck of rust”
Bro he's gotta sell the wife on it leave him alone 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@cakevictim Tail gate rust is real. Rear window seal was not created in anyone's finest hour.

Greg, you HAVE to fully restore this classic.
I think the enthusiasm is limited to one, lol. Once it's done, it will grow on her.
It is done lol!!
@@gbiffle No Greg . . you have to do some rust repair and repaint it for her!!!!
*She seems super-pumped about it.*

I laughed so hard when you revved the engine a few times and said "ya hear that shit?!" I love the enthusiasm!!!!! That's a badass truck man!😁🤘👍
Man that’s a killer find!!! And it looks like you have the means to fix it up too!!if she doesn’t like it least you have it for yourself… bravo!!

That is awesome, I would take that over anew Bronco in a heartbeat
No doubt about that...
It’s like a first generation ford excursion
I can feel her enthusiasm from Georgia 😂😂
I thought I had seen all American cars…… I had never seen this!!
His sarcasm and wit is hilarious as hell!!! Keepem comin!!

That's even better than the CNC you got her for Valentines day ❤
Had one with a 7.3 IDI diesel it always turned heads!
Love that !!
Excellent find and buy Greg.
So what are you gonna buy her??!!😳😳😳😳😳
I don't think she's too happy. ha-ha I've seen that half smile before at my house!
I love my old broncos never seen one of those. That's a good motor the broncos also a real good shape. NICE FIND !!!!!! Total restore u must. 👍🤳
i wish they still made a Ford truck like this
Glad she loves her new ride. :). It is beautiful.
You got a deal on that vehicle Greg that is bad ass
Dang Greg I'm in! That's badass.... Just like you said! I bet Mama is impressed.
I've never seen that type of Ford vehicle before, that is nice I bet when that thing was new people loved it.
2:05 I have never seen the rest of this vid just watching it for the first time but somehow I feel a great disturbance in the force

BIFF you da man, always better to ask forgiveness than permission way to go!
Me being a big Ford guy I need something like this in the near future awesome
If we don't hear from Greg, he was smothered overnight.. 😂
Im not much of a Ford man but that suv is pretty cool looking Bronco. Congrats on your unicorn.
That house is insane, l want to see a tour of that!!!
The first time I have seen one. Awesome!!

It’s a big Longmire Bronco. Pretty cool. Beautiful wife. Keep up the good work.
That 460 under the hood will know where every gas station is , lol
Can’t wait to see the finished product👍🏿
I'm 60 yrs old and swear I don't think I've ever seen a 4 door bronco,,id love to have it,,and you got a hot wife too don't loose her over a vehicle 😂
That's because it's not a bronco. It's a Centurion, they weren't even made by Ford. They were pieced together by a couple of private companies.
@chrisparker9886 no wonder I never seen one then still like to have it tho
They made lots of them
She fell in love with it right away 😍
Definitely has the best engine Ford ever made!
Dual domelights - what a exciting option , lol
Lol..should be dual AC w/ 15"TVs..in time..
She is so lucky. Had a 79 bronco ranger xlt .
Centurion.....wow I've seen 2 in my life. Very cool.
Great find Biffle! I don’t overly like fords but a Centurion is always on the list. Always wanted one
Great find Greg have you ever looked for an old Ford maverick
My great grandmother used to have one it was I nice classic till it sat too long on the lawn and rusted out😢
That’s an awesome buy. I’m thinking “honey” wasn’t quite as enthused as you were. 😏
She’ll come around. You only had here best interests at heart.
Definitely not very many of them around. Looks like a good restoration job. I like it and I’m not a Ford guy. lol. Good buy Greg.
Haha. Sweet man! That’s one lucky wife!
Have wanted one all my life
Subscribed! You cracked me up! Most wives are spoiled rotten. You got your old lady a nice used vehicle. Respect!! Timmy C Arizona
I've got the opposite problem.
My wife finds all sorts of stuff on Marketplace, then I get to drive all around NC to pick the stuff up!
It is a badass bronco if you're a collector of rare cars.
I want to know how much you paid for it.
That ford is badass. Love it
When you buy something for yourself but give it to the wife to make it ok 😂
She sounds like she can’t wait to drive it!!!!

Its the thought that counts. That thing is bad ass. Fix the ac and glove box. The door and the rust.

They did. Not sold in the US though. All over Mexico/South America
@@RichieRichpobutproudyea I should’ve said why they never sold them here. I almost bought a 3 door from Mexico

It's pickup bus, seldom seen in such fine condition🤗

Biff, your sales pitch was on point! Im not sure if she was buying tho! I think she will come around :)
I never knew such a thing had ever been created, really cool. Once he puts another $20k into it ol' Greg might get a little action again.
Biff was selling the $hit outta that! :)
