- Decided to get different brands of switches and see which one fits the Rakk lam-ang lite and ilis.
Which one simply is a bolt-on?
Which one doesnt fit?
What do I recommend?

This was the video I was looking for. Had a hard time choosing what switch to replace my Outemu blue because they said on their website it's only compatible with just Outemu. Now I can decide for a better brand like Akko and Khail. Deserves a sub and like 👍

@@randomguyontheinternet259It depends. I got one from cosmic byte in which you can replace with any keys but in the same brand some keyboards can only be switched with outemu ones. Same goes for most keyboards, it’s usually mentioned when you buy it
This guy deserved a large subscribers and help me to solve my biggest question for the compatibility of switch..

@@nthakur6156 Mostly the same switches that fits the one in the video. However Redragon, at least as far as I know, fits better on the plate so it probably won't be lifted if you get Gaterons for example.
For anyone wondering you can try swapping the bottom housing of the switch. I got the Durok Dolphin Silent Switch and I put the stem and the spring inside the stock Outemu housing and it works. Not the best solution but it's still very much silent. Have to mention that I had to use thinner o-rings because using thicker ones would make the key not register unless pressed very hard. This problem didn't happen with stock Outemu.

you can trim the tip of the pin diagonally so it can fits in and be stable
don't trim too much or it won't read on the board
not really the actual problem here
the problem was that the gaterons and durock switches that he used werent smd compatible
which is the reason why it wasnt able to fit in even after thinning out the pins

My rakk ilis uses akko switches. Perfect fit.. 😁😁
Agree! Perfect fit and i like the sound more than outemu browns. The purple's sound is between click and thoc. Which is what i am looking for.

Keeb ko Redragon k606r clicky blue, paka ingay nya lalo kapag may natutulog samin nagrereklamo kasi ang ingay hahaha so i switched to speed silvers but parang naging nagtype ako sa OG Keeb na walang tunog so i switched sa Akko radiant reds just yesterday, may scratchiness sya (if unlubed) but it's worth it naman and dito ako nakapagdecide thanks for the helpful vid

The kailh box switches plug and play with outemu sockets? a lot of ppl say it cant tho
Please does the akko work with mechanical socket and optical socket is what optical sockets are but I wanna know if the e yooso z-88 is mechanical socket
i tried slapping some akkos cream yellow v3 today but the pins dont seem to fit ..could they possibly be thicker than the older versions?

How the spring ping? I am using brown outemu, the noise is very obvious. I have akko lavender too. But not swap it yet

I'll tell you after 4 days by real exp but for now i saw so many videos you just have to clip 4 and 5 leg which is plastic one which is Normal to cut

i think i know why the durocks and the gaterons are higher than the others. i saw you have the pop up leds it means that they go over the pcb then i also saw that both gateron and durocks dont have the space for the leds so yeah btw did something happen to the leds and stuff
Yes yes thats correct. Those were blocking since there is no allocated space or cut on the switch to make way for the led. Nothing happed with the led after.
Is Kailh low profile fit in this socket?

Hi! I'm wondering if Akko Silver Switches will be compatible with the G Pro X board and keycaps. This is my first time doing this so bear with me :>
im p sure in the case of the g pro or just logitech keyboards its a different case completely because 1 they arent hotswap and 2 they are a proprietary switch. Logitech makes their own switches and im pretty sure they arent compatible with ANY switch at all. Though this is just based on what i know, you should do a little more digging to check if it does or not
@@343JustMe it's the G Pro X , not the standard G Pro. The G Pro X is hotswappable and I've seen other Akko switches in it. But Idk if the Akko silver switch fits.
@@mikuro2197 oh my bad i didnt know they did that with the pro x. But if youve seen other akko switches fit in it then the others should as well since they are the same size and most likely have the same pins as well

yes i believe so, but unfortunately, even if we're able to insert the switch, its not going to work properly. on this video,the best one that fitted and worked properly are the akko switches.

outemu blues suck they work for about 3 months max then they start double typing
yung iba hindi magbabaon mabuti dahil sa led ng pbc mo smd switches kasya jan.. may smd switches at non smd swtiches

Kung under warranty pa sir, try mo contact seller. Sa mga gumagawa kasi, wala pa po ako nakikita na nagrerepair ng led. Pero try nyo po mag inquire. May mga nagseservice ng mech keyboards sa FB. Try nyo po sila message.
Kung SMD yung LED mahirap yan sir ma kumpuni, pero kung 2 pin na LED may posibilidad pa, kelnagang mo lang ng basic soldering kit and skill.

Hi po. Isa po yan sa mga balak ko rin subukan. Since by the looks of it, mukhang pwede siya.
anything from KTT should fit, iirc they're the ones who make the now popular Akko switches
