I’m in school to become a CRNA. This is my plan and I think it’s the quickest route! Pre req, ASN, work toward your BSN AND be a ICU nurse at the same time. Then CRNA school. That equals 7.5 years !
I love the video, can you make a video on things we can do while in LPN/nursing school to start building our resume
Had to watch on 1.5x extrapolated info on min 7:00
I’m so confused. I’m just realizing things have changed. I’m seeing we have to obtain a DNP for all crna’s. Not sure how true this is. I just finished my BSN and I’m not sure what to do next.
That's what I am confused about . I just read an article that it used to be MSN..but as of 2025 it will be DSN.
Yes the last masters graduate class was recent years however anybody moving forward will have to get DNP
Same amount of time 3-4yeara to get a dnp from bsn
Starting from scratch, wouldn’t it be 8-9 years. Even in the example you gave of 4 years BSN, 2 years ICU experience and 3 year of CRNA school, that’s 9 years so was there another factor making it 12?
I agree
I think that it was a mistake. But that is right. 4 years for a BSN (if traditional), 2 years ICU experience, 3 years CRNA school and 3 years CRNA school. So a total of 9 years.
@@jayvaunh u want to do a asn (2years) first work in ICU while getting a bsn (2 more years) ICO experience in there then crna school (3 years) 7 total
@@earlearl1256 that's my plan, just CLEP whatever non- science courses you can and work from there
