Yeah, on the 27th. The official Black Dog TSRTS release uses footage from the 28th and 29th mostly, where used #1, altho there is a brief shot at the end where you can see #3 on TSRTS
It was three nights at Madison Square Garden so footage from the 3 nights at the Garden were used for TSRTS concert film; plus reenactments on a sound stage in England. The reason for this was the film crew weren't told that a Zeppelin show ran over 3hrs and they have enough film , hence huge gaps and lost footage.
These fine gentlemen, superstars of all that is good, had a better time sharing their gift with the world, which, on this particular evening, was the audience in NYC, than the audience itself, if that's humanly possible!!! So, imagine you are there on this night, and the great time you'd be having, surely the greatest night of your life!!! Zeppelin was enjoying it even more, simply sharing their gift with the entire audience, while they were having the time of their lives!!! No wonder they played so much and for as long as they did every night!!! No one comes even close, and nobody will ever reach Zep's status and influence and love and generosity and pure unselfishness, never thinking about themselves and the damage they are going to suffer with their health, well-being, and eventually by the loss of Bonzo!!! Never again will there be anyone like the mighty Led Zeppelin!!! Much love to you all!!! Peace, love and tranquility always!!! Gussy out...🤘💖🙏

This is the only time I’ve ever seen Jimmy in the “wizard” outfit, at the beginning. It’s my favorite one, it gives him incredible presence. Probably why KISS ripped it off.
Looks like two different people with cameras. In the beginning, Jimmy looks like he should get some black face makeup and join Kiss. Sacreligious, I know, just the black and white look. Love every moment
In this time period No Quarter usually was in the 10 minute range. No Quarter running for 30mins is the norm In 1975 though. You can hear a fragment of the 27th version on the original album, at the very end of the solo, before the third verse comes in.
If this video is from July 27th 73 why isn't Jimmy wearing the black dragon outfit. In the movie he was wearing the dragon outfit wasn't he or is my memory starting to fade I am close to 70.
Compare to the movie, the band is in their exact outfits from "The Song Remains the Same", down to Jimmy changing his jacket before Over the Hills and Far Away. :)

I remember an interview with Robert and Jimmy saying the film crew had done " a piss poor job" on some of the filming so they had to add or subtract parts? No? They were saying if you look the crowd is smaller and Jimmy changed. I noticed his hair was sweaty, and then it wasn't. In the film. Don't know, love Zeppelin though!
