    As a guy who has been using this system for 5+ years and knows how good it is, I still watched your whole video lol just be sure and check the TDS every few washes and put quick connects on it. Makes life so much easier!

    And he crushes it again 💪 that’s ANOTHER hobby of mine you’ve stepped into, weekend warrior detailing 😂 just glad we don’t need anything like the CR-Spotless in Scotland, a wash and dry and no water spots to worry about 🤷‍♂️

    I've had the CR system for years and I was using the 2 hose method which had started to become a royal pain in the ass. After watching your video, and the other video, I ordered the parts based on your video, this past Monday. By Friday of the same week I had all the parts and put everything together in around 30 minutes, and tested and had no leaks. The only issue I ran into was my old hose from the CR to the pressure washer had a female hose end which would not connect to the new connector. I ran down to my local Lowes and got an adapter and voila. I cranked up the pressure washer, and I was in business. Thanks a lot....

    Instead of bypass I may just put a Y off my water outlet (from water softener.

    I just plumbed the outside faucet that is right against my driveway to my soft water system in my house. Every time I wash my car and rinse it off. It’s the same as going to a car wash and using the spot free rents selection. Never had any water spot issues even if I wash the car and let it dry in the direct sun.
    The faucet on the other side of the house is the one that I used to do any grass, flowers, plant watering.

    A cheaper option would be to use the detail spray while wet, keeps the spots from sticking. I have a dark blue almost black gmc truck in south Texas heat, our normal temp is 99-103 all year round lol so I have gotten pretty good at eliminating water spots. Also I use a leaf blower to blow dry it and it works. But that system looks cool, another thing I need to add that u suggested, that my wife is gonna hate lmao 😂 fuck it!

    Alas, the water is so hard and the humidity so low here in Vegas that the water hardens in the air and tends to chip the paint right out of the power washer. Besides, it's illegal to wash your car in the driveway, which explains why there seems to be a car wash at every gas station. You still need a team of six (like a NASCAR pit crew) to get the droplets off the car/truck before they are seared into the paint. I can hardly feel your pain... Ha..!

  • @fensterputzernuernberg

    This a good video but slightly is wrong .... you need to produce the pure water slowly .... the only way to do this is to produce the water slowly by turning the tap on to a little more than a a trickle into a seperate bucket / tank / cannister and draw the water from the tank when you have produced 20 liters or so ... Most pressure washers can draw / suck from a seperate tank cannister .... Fast running water through the cr spotless will use the resin a lot quicker. Wash your car in the early hours. 8 to 9 am

    Yo so I built this exact same set up, bought all the exact parts and I’m having leaking issues in almost ALL the connection points except for the quick disconnects and the adapter threads that actually connect into the deionizer input and output. Most severely leaking from the water heater supply line end connectors, and elbow joints. Was so bad when I washing my car all the leaking pressurized water soaked the top of the TDS monitor where the exposed wiring is and fried it, rendering my whole unit useless and it was my first time using the machine since I ordered.
    Anyone have any tips on how to trouble shoot the leaks?

    You couldn't just have a regular garden hose on standby for the rinse?......not the sharpest pencil in the box are you?

    • @JeremySiers
      @JeremySiers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a pressure washer to wash my truck. Works far better than a garden hose. It is much easier to just run a bypass that can flip back and forth with a switch than unhooking and rehooking the filtration system. Also
      Maybe you misunderstood but the rinse portion is the part you need to use the filtration system. So using a standby garden hose for the rinse kinda defeats the whole purpose. So while I may not be the sharpest in the box my friend….I seem to be sharper than you. 😉
