There doesn't seem to be any tools like that available specifically for 11-14 rzr xp 900. Doesn't the 1000 have a different crank snout size? Would that tool for the 1000 even work in my '14 xp 900 ?

Using an extension changes your torque specs. The flex in the extension effectively means your torque is gonna actually be lower than the setting on your torque wrench.
