in the movie, eugene mentioned “she’s a princess worth waiting for” about rapunzel when they’re finally reunited with her family. Now he even said cass is worth fighting for at the end of the series hits me in so many ways and i wasnt ready to be this emotional after watching 3 seasons twice thank you very much.
Y’know, Cass’ reaction to Eugene asking her about her parents makes me wonder whether or not she actually forgot about Gothel. Maybe she remembered how she left, but didn’t actually remember her as a person or details of what happened, making it a sad memory for her.
@@treinenliefde From what I know, most people have their first memories at around 2-3 years old and that was a major thing for her, so I'm sure she might have remembered it, but maybe it was traumatic for her and she forgot (irl there are times very traumatic things end up being forgotten as a defense mechanism). Eitherways, the show does make a point that she didn't know who her mother was or how she was like, but I think that the reason she got so defensive when asked about it was probably because she did remember to the extent she wasn't comfortable to talk about it. She could have just told Eugene she didn't imagine anything about her parents, but instead she just looked upset and angry.

Also her father probably told her how he found her and decided to raise her at some point so she probably feels bad due to the circumstances of her being left. She probably feels bad cause she knows her mom abandoned her and didn't care for her and that hurts. Also, it is possible that she might remember some things about her time with gothel, but not gothel herself, she was old enough.

Though I still think it sucks that cass left at the end I think I now understand why she said in the first scene she didn't have time for dreams so who knows maybe she left to finally find one
The hug part is the cutest and i think Tangled The Series ended in the best way. They both got thei'r happy ending and Cassandra got back with her father again. Cassandra's and Rapunzel's friendship will always last but her destiny is somewhere else and she deserves to go for her dream too. Beautiful story love it so much❤❤❤
So... them being long lost siblings is CLEARLY a plot point that ended up on the cutting room floor, right? It just seems like an incredible trick to miss that naturally the one with an affinity for the moon stone is the princess of the Dark Kingdom.
Did anyone else hardcore headcannon Eugene and Cass as secret siblings, separated when their pirate/secret-society-member parents abandoned them? Personally, I would have preferred that to what actually happened; it makes more sense (I know Cass as gothel's daughter was also a common, reasonable theory, but her evil arc didn't make much sense).
Between Cassandra and Eugene it's more similiar to a brother/sister relationship. Eugene love Rapunzel as a partner. This show don't really give you other couples between the main characters except Rapunzel and Eugene who are already together. For example Varian obvious crush for Cassandra wasn't there anymore, they are like Dipper and Wendy from Gravity Falls, she's too old for him and the childhood Crush of Varian wasn't there anymore, he like her but as a friend, nothing more.

Im not sure about how much a four year old can remember but maybe the trauma of the situation just made her mind forget about it?
