    I've been using Vectric software for a year now and this is honestly the first time I've seen "copy along vectors". This alone was worth the Like.

    Outstand video and the gentleman presenting the tutorial has an excellent technique of showing you every step of the construction and things to look for when designing your own project.
    I just love the flexibility of this software.

      Thank you so much Mike, we're so pleased you enjoyed Randy's session. It is always amazing to see how people work in the software. We hope you enjoy the rest of the sessions. Have a great day.

    Randy what a terrific video. Just a novice but moving along very quickly, and your video really simplifies the chip carving process using VCarve.

    WOW great presentation. Going to have to watch that again. At the 34.10 mark, the 4 triangles in the centre , still have the curve joining them together. I would have thought they would of had to be trimmed. Yup I am going to have to give this a whirl, and maybe some epoxy inlay.

      Yes, the way they magically disappeared was confusing. :-)

    I was inspired to create a small lid for my coffee/tea mug at work and it came out great. Any chance of getting a link to download a file with your template components there to the left of your workspace?

    Do you have a source for the elements that you use in creating the chip carving?

    • @vectric
      @vectric  ปีที่แล้ว

      We will have to pass that one onto Randy. Thanks for the question.

    How did you get the designs showing off to the side?

    • @vectric
      @vectric  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the question. I have a feeling he was in the 2D view and created them in the gray area off the main job sheet.

    As soon as I go to the first toolpath I get straight lines. What am I doing wrong??

    • @cnclearnandbuild
      @cnclearnandbuild ปีที่แล้ว

      What's the name of the VCarve file that you're working in? Also, what's the name of the toolpath that's giving you straight lines? from Randy J
