Thank you for all of the Tips and tricks you give us. It also helps to reinforce all that we’ve learned. How many of us know better but still won’t forget. Thanks again and take care.

Love how you use the forceps to enlarge the lines for easier installation. I’ve used needlenose pliers and a larger fid or spike, but I like your method much better because there are no sharp or pointed edges. I have several forceps so I’ll have to see which ones have the smallest tips, and if none are small enough I’ll just grind and polish one down to do the job. I’ve never owned a tool I haven’t modified! 🔧👍
Well there ya go that's one I haven't worked on. Not much for hedges here and I guess if there is most have electric. I think I've got a couple of them around here somewhere!!
I’ve told that tip about installing furthest lines first into tank to multiple so-called professionals on TH-cam who show viewers how to do it backwards. Yup, it’s simple common sense, but a lot of these people don’t really think about what they’re doing - how to do things easier or more efficiently. 👍🔧
I guess if I was just making a video for youtube it wouldn't matter much but these are actual customer repairs where I'm on the clock and expected to be efficient. Do you find many other small engine videos with this format?
I have the same one, my neighbor gardener threw in trash i took it out went through it cleaned it up rebuilt carburetor, gas tank, fuel lines all been replaced! It started for about a minute on full throttle but then it wouldn't restart. Is it possible that the diapram is keeping it from running? I hear that's probably my problem not sure? But i did notice it wasn't sucking fuel but i have fuel in primer bulb & in the vent tube & the return line. Is there suppose to be fuel in the breather line? The line outside with the filter going into housing of hedge trimmer? I don't know that's why I'm asking this is new for me.
no, i just showed them a video of how it runs and that was that. But because its an old unit, their advice was “instead of investing $150 into repairs of that unit, invest the money into a new one”. Any step by step that you would recommend to locate the leak?
@@WorldMarketing721 I'm sorry, between TH-cam, my ebay store and my full time job I just don't have the time to walk anyone through a repair. I hope you understand.

I know a lot of these videos are quite similar...thanks for sticking around.

I went through a phase where I was making tools. These days I'm more likely to search for and buy what I want.

Two stroke running issues are all the same. Don't matter if its a hedge trimmer or gas powered turtle neck sweater.

None! AFAIK yours is unique. Also a lot more instructive and valuable for me. 🙏👍🔧
Where do I get a Factory Carb kit? (Or any universal kit like you had here)

@@garygushue4273 it's probably worth opening the carb just to see what's going on.
Whats the difference between orange and white colored hc1500?
What is that amazing small electric screw driver??
It was found on amazon but I've gone back to look again and they no longer offer it.
Have any idea what size fuel line this application uses?
Sorry, no. We stock bulk line and I never look at the sizes. I just grab whatever looks right. If I'm wrong I grab something else.
Bangs it down on the bench. It’s done! 😂🔧
Yep. Theres yer dinner!

I have a trimmer similar, local mechanics said to toss it because i have a vacuum leak , anything I can do to fix it on my own?
Did he tell you where the leak was? Crank seals?

Can i contact you on any type of social media to discuss this?

What size are the fuel lines
Not sure. I just grab the size I need without looking at size because we charge the same for all those sizes.
I'm pretty sure they're between two and mm 0.4 mm or 0.2mm
Bonjour quel et le réglage carburateur s'il vous plaît lerci
Try starting at 2.5 on the low and 1.25 on the hi.
Please show removing exhaust cover.
How am I supposed to do that? The unit was repaired and returned to the customer months ago. Thanks for watching!
Showing to remove the cover shield for the exhaust is such a pain in the ass I know I've replaced two of them so far in my life and they suck
Whats the difference between orange and white colored hc1500?
The orange stuff is newer. As for exact differences, I'm not sure.
