I really appreciate your honest comments between the Buccaneers and the Caballeros. I am a Caballeros for life. Marched with the Caballeros from 1977 through 1988. Marched with the Alumni from 2011 through 2013. Truck crew from 2014 through 2021.
DCA used to go to Labor Day weekend, but, as high school and college bands and schools have changed their schedules, it’s become harder and harder for the all age corps to recruit. This move was a long time coming and the positives are outweighing the benefits significantly, even after just one season.
I found taht to be a thoroughly entertaining show from beginning to end. Reading is the standard bearer for the all age activity and have been for a long time. I think DCI and DCA merging is a fantastic thing. Indy is a draw to members looking to do all age and DCI can expand their presence gurther afield geographically.
@@KevinGamin Truthfully, doing it with Cadets was way harder because we rehearsed it at 215. My legs were not thrilled back then. Compare that to Bucs 24, and it felt much easier at only 200bpm haha...

Thanks so much. I matched junior corps and that was a lot for my age at the time. I would have to seriously work hard to march now
Great analysis, enjoyed the replay, East coast drum corp has been a staple of many communities here in NJ for over 50 years.
It is tough not having that option here. I think it will be a good partnership with DCI bring able to perform in the stadium.
