I'm reading Robert Iger's biography right now and he shared how tough the situation was during this time, with the tragedy that happened in Disney World, Florida at the same time during the launch of Shanghai Disney Resort.
Very impressive Disney park!! BUT in general lines, as a conclusion about the Shanghai park, is that you can not find even one classic "cartoon" animated attraction. All of the attractions are from the "live-actors-movies" and not from animated ones. It seems closer to a "Universal studios" or other similar style theme park, But not Disneyland. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing.
The problem is your general Chinese visitor has ABSOLUTELY no clue who the hell anyone of them are beyond Mickey Mouse. Disney discovered the hard way that the "Disneyland" anyone who went to the parks knew was not exportable anywhere as Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland shows. This "Disneyland" is, in the words of Bob Iger, not Disneyland in China but China's Disney, signifying that it would be built differently than the rest.

Walt Disney world buiding tron coaster now as we speak they added 3 extra parks pluse the 4 they already had go check them out on TH-cam.
America has the biggest park they will be getting torn coaster also in 2019 Florida has 5 parks now getting one more to make it 6 parks
2021, 4 Parks, no more on the way for the moment.
