I have to be honest, this is one of my favorite Mega Man remixes out right now. I liked Magic Man's theme in the OG game, but you made it thousands of times better.
Holy sh*t this is a musicians dream!!! First of all starting off with a minor major 7 chord is BOLD, but then you go straight to an inverted french 6th chord soloing with the whole tone scale over it!!! (beautiful choice as you might have heard from the casino theme I do enjoy myself some wholetone) and THEN you walk down the f*cking major bebop scale in fully diminished 7ths... And the BOOM!!! A MOTHER F*CKING DOMINANT SHARP 9!!?!?!??!?! bro thinks she's jimi hendrix.. And then the melody coming in double time HARTCH!!! Then you play some inverted sus chords to make the sweet quartal chords and then do whatever the fuck you want with voice leading into a dominant flat 9... but you don't use it as a V chord do you. You use it as a, holy crap, deceptive cadence (the flat seven chord function) to get to a key change!!!!!!!!!!! WHATTTT!!!!!????? But bro decides to go further going into a god damn 7/8 time signature to flex even more!!! I also LOVE that 4ths movement you do with the chords before you add... My melody part!? It's honestly such an honor at this point. I would for real love to sit down and talk about what goes through that genius head of yours when composing. I could probably learn a thing or two. Besides all of that nerdy crap AMAZING job dude! All of those Whole tone scale derived dominant substitutes are so sexy. I am wondering what scale you used over that minor major 7 chord in the beginning. I did not recognize it.
