These are the naps I’m talking about…the ones where you wake up and think you’re late for school or an important test, only to find out that you’re not in school anymore
I'm 27. I live alone in a different area in a house I own with 2 cats and a full time job. I still sometimes wake up thinking I'm late for school. I don't think those nightmares will ever go away.
It's the PTSD after college.. While I'm at my last year before residency, let me say that during exams and after you get back from college to the dorm and take a nap only to wake up when the sun is setting and you think that you've missed the bus and you go into panic mode but then you realize that it's 4pm not 8am

I remember i suddenly woke up from afternoon nap with real louzy feelings like i missed something and then i remember that it was my mom's bday, and i went outside and hug her and said happy bday ma, im sorry i forgot about it. she went silent for a couple of a sec and then said wirh a real concerned tone, "Sweetheart, it's April now, is everything okay with you?" my ma's bday was in mid November 💀
