I want more vote cards. I want to build a Council's Dilemma/ Will of the Council deck.
Im expecting there to be more in the precon.
I tried doing that Queen Marchesa but sadly there isn't that many of them U_U

I wish they were a bit more consistant in power. There are a lot of really bad ones and then there is Expropriate.
Academy Manufactor means your opponents don't really have a choice.

I told myself I wasn’t going to build another commander deck for a while, but this one takes the cake as one I’ll build. Run this with clones and you can rig any and every vote in your favor.
One of the few decks where Helm of the Host changes from jank to remove on sight threat.
@@sagatario58 Helm of the host is scary in decks where commanders have good etb or triggered abilities. Wulfgar and isshin can spiral fast with them
@@xgxwills2857 true. I like running it in Atla Palani too, but thats definitely a bit more on the jank side. I always atleast consider it in any commander deck though, it can do some nutty things if not dealt with.

Academy Manufactor would actually give you 3 permanents per vote, so 5 votes equals 5 foods, 5 clues, and 5 treasures on 1 ETB... that's a lot of artifacts and value, holy crap

A really roundabout way of influencing players votes is with Mechanized Production on your clue token. People will change their votes depending on which artifact you have more of allowing you to manipulate the outcome and giving you a less reliable but still fun wincon!
Mechanized Production is hella crazy
Let's also not forget Revel in Riches, that would also influence the votes of your opponents, and if you happen to get both out, that's practically game.
My favorite commander so far from the set. Unique but still powerful. Also helps that it protects itself to a degree.
Scryfall text searches: improvise, Affinity for artifacts, affinity for tokens, artifact sac, artifact etb, artifact ltb, artifact to creatures, investigate, treasure, artifact tap, vote,
Lots of great choices for this commander.
Also Improvise will be powerful as well if you have Inspiring Statuary, all your spells coat 1 less for each artifact you tap.

My first ever commander deck was a sphinx tribal yennet deck. Decided to revive it with Tivit at the helm and it has been a blast! It already had a bunch of blink support for multiple sphinx etb’s so it was a easy fit. Total blast to play and turning expropriate into a time stretch+ feels soo powerful especially when illusion of choice goes off with it
I think Tivit is actually a 6/6 which makes him even better.

I was sad when trying to build a deck around Tivit with the vote theme as a focal point just to find there isn’t a whole lot to build around. BUT you can do what Esper likes to do a lot and that is steal everyone else’s nice things with the vote sub theme. So I’ve named my Tivit deck “Bad Divorce” where I steal from my opponents with cards like ashiok or thief of sanity and card advantage with “wedding ring”. Sure we vote, about the same amount as you get a vote in divorce court when you didn’t sign that prenup
The way they set it up on the card, I’m pretty sure any vote you make you get to vote another time, not just on the ETB trigger

I feel like another good win condition for this deck is Altar of Dementia and either Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, or in a longer roundabout setup either The Antiquities War or setting off the ultimate for Tezzeret the Seeker. You're likely to generate far more Clue Tokens (also Food tokens if you're running Academy Manufactor, which you should be) than you could possibly crack using their own ability, why not just use them to deck someone out?
So because of how much Treasure is used I have started putting Magnetic Mine in my decks. Magnetic Mine is a 2 cost artifact that deals 2 damage to any player that has an artifact go to the graveyard. I have had someone make a buttload of Treasure tokens and use them just to die before they won, I did ask them 3 times if they were sure and still did it anyways.
Illusion of Choice is honestly so strong for a deck like this, almost have to included an Isochron Scepter to have its effect on every vote.
Definitely gotta put mechanized production and revel in riches in here for an instant win win con! Oh and Tezzeret the Schemer would be a good add too

Anointed procession is gunna just keep going up more and more, i cant believe it was only a few buck years ago and im glad i picked a few up since white is becoming a good color

This plus Deadeye Navigator plus Time Sieve seems like a fun extra turn combo.
This and dead eye is at minimum infinite investigates/etb's

Just watched a Commander game with this guy. Player always picked Treasure. Opponents always picked Clue, with *zero* hesitation.
Starts the video off with "Blame Eddy" and then immediately takes full responsibility for missing some text on the card lol. Love your videos dude, great content as always.
I actually have an esper deck with this theme using Aminatou for the bounce since there's a lot of ETB. Glad to get an official commander
on a blank board i would always give you treasurs. that way i would seperate mana and cards.
Deadeye navigator can give infinite clues, your opponents will not give you treasures but with your two votes you can keep blinking it.
I absolutely love this commander and will 1000% be building it. So cool!

You'll still have plenty artifacts with those triggers.

Inspiring Statuary seems decent here, allows your clues to function as treasures for casting your spells.
throw in KCI and that displacer starts to look real good
This goes well with academy manufactur. And goes infinite with the soulbond

I thought that they didn't since tokens artifact do not stay in the graveyard...
While it's true that they do get exiled. That only happens after they've hit the graveyard. So tokens go to the graveyard and then get immediately exiled, which still leaves rooms for things to trigger from it happening.
I have a feeling there will be many new commander decks with this card.
expropriate goes brr with this. most people scoop if you get two turns with it and being able to cite twice that's almost always gonna be automatic

Time sieve is just busted with this guy you get almost infinite turns! What and awesome commander.
with Time Sieve + Closet + 3 opponents you *do* go infinite since you net 5 artifacts per turn (4 people voting and you vote twice). If one of the opponents dies you do need an additional piece to the combo, but by then either you've found your Manufacturer or everyone has surrendered
I have been waiting for so long to get a "councils dilemma" commander I have to get this precon
if I start seeing this, I'll need to put my Viridian Revel in more decks, just to balance out the advantage

Wizards is really pushing these artefact tokens. Well, we all know the usual. Revel in Riches, Cranial Plating, and Inspiring Statuary. Hopefully, we'll be getting more artifact token support in white.
I already have a vote deck with Sen Triplets at the helm. I think I'll just make this the new commander. 😁😁😁

I bought all the voting cards before the hype for this guy came and I'm so lucky I bought a £8 expropriate because this will be the only deck I use it in
I personally will never put Expropriate in any deck I ever play, I don't care how good this commander makes it. Besides, my playgroup as a whole has banned it a long time ago.

academy manufactor is great and all, but i think inspiring statuary is equally busted in this deck
Question: If I have annointed procession and academy manufactor on board, would it only trigger one of them when i make a treasure because of the instead text from each card?

Quick question if someone destroys conjurer closet with something like krosan grip while commander is exiled does the commander stay exiled
No cause its one block of text. If the triggers were separated, then itd stay exhiled (but you could then move it to the command zone). But since its one chunk of text, the return trigger still resolves
