I look at the house edge as a "fee" for playing. The fee for Blackjack might be $0.20 on a $25 hand, the fee for Roulette would be $1.30 on a $25 spin. An optimal evening for me would be 150 hands of blackjack, 200 hands of video poker, and 40 spins at roulette. Rough estimate is a loss of $100. Add tips and it's about $130. In 2023, that's a reasonable cost for night of entertainment, and if you're at a lower level casino you can play for much cheaper.
The problem is that casinos and ESPECIALLY sportsbooks don't always advertise things this way. Honest advertising would frame gambling the way you do (as paid entertainment like other forms of paid entertainment), but selling stories of people winning at casinos with the implication that you can expect the same is misleading.

What makes slots a true form of gambling (i.e. the wagering of something of value on an event with an uncertain outcome.) is that the outcome of the spin is uncertain. There is literally NO benefit for the casino, rigging a slot machine, removing the randomness of the game, because that's what makes it PREDICTABLE which you can use in YOUR advantage. Therefore, the only way a casino runs a profitable business, is by providing slot games that are random and unpredictable in their outcome, using variables and odds that are in the player's disadvantage. This is only true if other players play them while they are not (long-term) beatable first. The casino still meets its RTP on the game, although some individuals may play with a much higher RTP than others due to their entry and exit strategies.
So in orher words use casinos the way you might use a scratcher lotto ticket. It's fun/thrilling to imagine you might win big but know you most likely will never do that. So you do it once or a few times a year to keep the fantasy going without risking your entire economy
But if its random and volatile you may go on for days and get nothing. If the game is volatile and you win than you may get stock on volatile by continuing and loose you winings because its so volatile. But if it is volatile when can you win if its so random when volatile is always there.
Yes, but law of number means that the more you play the more your winnings will resemble that of the win/pay ratio (you lose money). That is how Casinos make money, they make money on the odds, not luck.
either you are a provider or casino owner which says so these games are fullt controlled in minimum details what they pay these games are 100% rigged they know exactly what to pays
You bet $2 with a 50% chance of winning $3, but when you lose, you lose the $2. You only gain $1 when you win and forfeit $2 when you lose. The house has a 25% edge because they gain an extra dollar every time you lose. 75% isn't the winning chance, it's the RTP (return to player). If you played a game with these odds and sat down with $100 you could expect to lose $25 playing it 50 times.
@@joemarks3719 2:15 Let us we assume the original head and tales rules of $1 bets, where a win (heads) means an extra $1 is won for a total of $2, and a loss (tails) means an extra -$2 is lost for a total of -$3. According to the UK Gambling Commission, the RTP is simply a ratio of wins over the turnover for the life of the game. If a player plays this game 100 times over with a total outlay of $100, wins 50 times and loses 50 times, the player wins $100 and loses -$150, for a net loss of -$50. However $100 (wins) divided by $100 (turnover), which is $100/$100, leads to a RTP of 100%, even though the player has a net loss of -$50. Naturally, the calculated RTP of 100% and the player _losing_ -$50 are incompatible with each other. With a RTP of 100%, this means the house edge is zero. This does not make any sense. Mr Marks, what have I missed? Thank you.
there is no way this can be 100% accurate. How many times, besides every-time, does one leave a slot after pumping money into it with minimal payback walk away and someone sits down and hits immediately? This has to be built into a slot because it happens WAY too often to be "random".
It is built into some slot machines, and less knowledgeable players often do walk away when the machine is "due", leaving it for other players. The majority of slot machines (especially ones not made in the last decade) have little to no such functionality, and choosing to play after someone else dumped a ton of money has no influence on how well you will perform.
And if you do win big they will give you a free hotel room and free meals and when you are sitting in the room you can try to sleep all night but I promise you at some time Doron the night you will go back in the casino and say maybe I can will a lot more??
In theory this all sounds great to learn but in reality the reasons why casinos always win. Because the advantage they use especially in roulette is A.I, and magnets. A total scam, you can't run a business on the hope customers lose money so u have to have a certified outcome. They got bills to pay including paying off local or National government in hush money disguised as tax. When u have worked out how the casino really make their money you wonder how they are allowed to get away with it
This is just completely and utterly false. No casino is further rigging the games. They are already guaranteed to win there is absolutely no reason for them to risk losing credibility their license and criminal prosecution to further rig games they already are guaranteed to win stop spreading bullshit
What is house edge? If I bet thirty-five on roulette numbers. I will then get thirty-six coins. Will any money be deducted from there? please riply me.
No, if you bet $1 on 35 individual numbers (for example all numbers apart from 0 and 36) you will win $36 if the ball lands on any of your numbers. This is your win and you can keep all $36. However, the chances of winning in this spin are 35/37, as there are 37 numbers in European roulette. So, in 35/37 (94.6%) cases you will win $1 ($36 minus $35), but in the remaining 2/37 (5.4%) cases you will lose $35. When we put all of this together (94.6% * $1 + 5.4% * (-$35)), we find out that you lose $0.946 on average, which is roughly 2.7% out of the $35 you wagered. And that's the house edge of European roulette.
I want to make it easy for you. Suppose I bet two numbers at 0 and 36 by 1 35 at 35 numbers. Then surely I will get 36 $ i i meam 1 $ more. Whether they will deduct any money from this one dollar. Please let me know
@@bappybarua2851 If you bet $1 on 35 numbers and nothing on the remaining 2 numbers, you will win $1 ($36 - $35) if the ball lands on one of those numbers. And you will be able to keep this dollar, nothing will get deducted. But there is still a 2/37 chance that you will lose all $35, so you are still playing at a disadvantage.
When you are in profits for 6 years we want to hear from you not 6 freaking weeks. That's a drop in the ocean. Do you think you are the only gambler who has won for a few months? I have been winning at roulette for over 8 years. And in talking with FLAT BETS. Not having to raise after a loss. And I don't see anyone who can match what I do. Never going negative more than 5 units..
If you bet only ONCE, how could you lose 2.7% once ? With just 1 bet , you either WIN or you LOST. Place a BET on RED for 1 spin bet, either RED n WON 100% or Black/Green n LOST 100%
Blackjack is different. Blackjack odds vary as cards are removed from the deck. When the 5 of diamonds has been played, it can’t come up on the next hand. It can’t come up until the deck is shuffled . So by increasing your bet when small cards are out, your chances of getting blackjack increase. Both dealer and Layer have the same chance to get blackjack , but you get paid 3-2 on your blackjack while the dealer gets only even money. So blackjack can be beaten in the long run.
@@gene8172 back in 1970, the casinos made more money from blackjack than they did from any other game including slots. And the casinos floor was loaded with all single deck tables with excellent rules and deep deck penetration. Now blackjack is no longer the biggest money maker for the casino. Blackjack can only be beaten by less than 1% of all those who play. More than 99% lose at blackjack. When the count strategies came out, droves of gamblers flocked to the blackjack tables thinking that they could beat it. They thought they had a winning system and bet lots more money. The count strategies actually helped the casinos even though a few could bet it. But restrictions on player rules actually hurt the casino blackjack profits. By preventing surrender, the players could no longer surrender at the wrong time. By restrictions on. Doubling down, the players could no longer double down at the wrong time. I’ve seen people double down hard 12 against a dealer 4!! I’ve seen a player split 77 against a dealer ten!! I’ve seen a player surrender 18 against a dealer ten. Sometimes that’s the right play, but when this player made it, it was wrong. The average casino advantage against these types of players is over 5%. A decision in blackjack is made much more often than a decision in Craps, roulette, or any other tables game. Only the slots have more frequent outcomes, but the bets are much smaller. So the average blackjack player is losing more money per hour than anyone other gambler. That’s why the casinos still offer a beatable blackjack game. Perhaps baccarat could move faster than blackjack but the casino advantage over the average player is much lower than in blackjack. The casino advantage in blackjack varies depending on the skill level of the player and the playing conditions offered by the casinos. I.e. rules, deck penetration, and number of decks used.
@@gene8172 blackjack can definitely be beaten. But you have to use a mathematically sound system and practice it so you don’t make any mistakes in the count, true count conversion, playing strategy, and playing deviations. The way the game is dealt today, you are lucky to get an overall advantage on your total bets of 0.5%. That means that if you make one bad mistake an hour, you are not making anything. If you make 2 bad mistakes an hour, you are losing money.
@@gene8172 it all depends on the rules, the deck penetration and also number of decks used. I can deal blackjack so nobody wins. It’s very simple for me because I know how to count the cards. Just shuffle away the rich decks and deal the lean one to the bottom. That has the same impact as taking out e few Aces and tens from the deck.
There’s a guy who made a TH-cam video and it was titled how slot machines work, and I basically was able to explain to the whole world how slot machines work it’s very simple you put your money in the slot machine and you lose your money I did not go to college. I hope you liked my explanation of how slot machines work also the house edge which I’m not gonna get into. See y’all later I’m gonna go take a shower now and go to work. !!
It is very sad how many people get hypnotized and lose everything, even worse frequent players that really play "for making a living". It is all about common sense and little knowledge on math, if casinos would be giving money those would be charity houses instead lol.
You can actually beat the casino on blackjack it’s mathematically solved but also very easy to detect so they stop you, card counting has a player edge of about 1.51%
The math in the video isn't right... having a 2.7% chance of winning means u can win once and lose 35x...in the house every player has a different number. The house is actually winning the moment u place the bet. If u win, continue and u're no different from a loser
This video is a joke, at best, dead wrong at worst. I will not specify what I mean, but if YOU know, you know. There’s a particular game in casinos, (in most, but not all) that absolutely CAN be beat in the short AND long term. But it requires patience, practice and discipline (money management). If you’re able to MASTER all of those (plus 2-3 more) will absolutely enable you to beat the odds. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit to learn a casino was involved in this video, somehow…Carry on…
"Slot machines don't have to be played because they just take all your money." *FALSE* A slot machine is were designed to pay out real prizes and the percentage that the house collects is very little compared to what you can win by betting a BET with only $1, and win $1.000 or more or the accumulated jackpot. It's all about lucky, there are no tricks or scams, you won't always lose everything, there will be very good proofits where you really win. Tha math it's essential for to casino, because so the house never it will lose. Regards and blessings from Argentina.

This is only true if other players play them while they are not (long-term) beatable first. The casino still meets its RTP on the game, although some individuals may play with a much higher RTP than others due to their entry and exit strategies.
Oh sure !
So in orher words use casinos the way you might use a scratcher lotto ticket. It's fun/thrilling to imagine you might win big but know you most likely will never do that. So you do it once or a few times a year to keep the fantasy going without risking your entire economy
Yeah quite impressive 💯
But if its random and volatile you may go on for days and get nothing. If the game is volatile and you win than you may get stock on volatile by continuing and loose you winings because its so volatile. But if it is volatile when can you win if its so random when volatile is always there.
Yes, but law of number means that the more you play the more your winnings will resemble that of the win/pay ratio (you lose money). That is how Casinos make money, they make money on the odds, not luck.
100% true!
either you are a provider or casino owner which says so these games are fullt controlled in minimum details what they pay these games are 100% rigged they know exactly what to pays
I haven't understood with2USD and a chance of winning 1 dollar relates to 75% winning chance
Thank you.
The Law of large Numbers.
Guru is really smart!
Thank you so much
there is no way this can be 100% accurate. How many times, besides every-time, does one leave a slot after pumping money into it with minimal payback walk away and someone sits down and hits immediately? This has to be built into a slot because it happens WAY too often to be "random".
Can you prove this with actual data?
It is built into some slot machines, and less knowledgeable players often do walk away when the machine is "due", leaving it for other players. The majority of slot machines (especially ones not made in the last decade) have little to no such functionality, and choosing to play after someone else dumped a ton of money has no influence on how well you will perform.
increible gracias
great vid
BONUS HUNTER...😈😈💯
And if you do win big they will give you a free hotel room and free meals and when you are sitting in the room you can try to sleep all night but I promise you at some time Doron the night you will go back in the casino and say maybe I can will a lot more??
Great video🙌thanks for the CC😊
In theory this all sounds great to learn but in reality the reasons why casinos always win. Because the advantage they use especially in roulette is A.I, and magnets. A total scam, you can't run a business on the hope customers lose money so u have to have a certified outcome. They got bills to pay including paying off local or National government in hush money disguised as tax. When u have worked out how the casino really make their money you wonder how they are allowed to get away with it
💩💩💩💩
This is just completely and utterly false. No casino is further rigging the games. They are already guaranteed to win there is absolutely no reason for them to risk losing credibility their license and criminal prosecution to further rig games they already are guaranteed to win stop spreading bullshit
Great content.
People not only losing money in casino, but also in STOCKS and CRYPTO especially !!
Please let me know
Please brother, let me know..
Reply me and clear me please
@@bappybarua2851 If you bet $1 on 35 numbers and nothing on the remaining 2 numbers, you will win $1 ($36 - $35) if the ball lands on one of those numbers. And you will be able to keep this dollar, nothing will get deducted. But there is still a 2/37 chance that you will lose all $35, so you are still playing at a disadvantage.
So you’re saying I have a chance!
The New triple zero roulette tables are terrible. Those roulette triple zero games should be boycotted.
I think they aren't even allowed. Get a sledgehammer and take the law in your hands ✋
@@paulmuller1168 actually the triple zero roulette games are all over Las Vegas.
Bro are you ok how much did u lose
i'm in profits for 6 weeks straight so so much for "you can't make money" and "the house always wins"
Play long enough and you will lose.
Withdraw your money and stop playing.
@@deepgupta9242never stop if you’re winning 😎🥛
When you are in profits for 6 years we want to hear from you not 6 freaking weeks. That's a drop in the ocean. Do you think you are the only gambler who has won for a few months?
I have been winning at roulette for over 8 years. And in talking with FLAT BETS. Not having to raise after a loss. And I don't see anyone who can match what I do. Never going negative more than 5 units..
@@fender1000100 I'm glad you told that punk off
If you bet only ONCE, how could you lose 2.7% once ? With just 1 bet , you either WIN or you LOST. Place a BET on RED for 1 spin bet, either RED n WON 100% or Black/Green n LOST 100%
The edge isnt per game it’s determined as an average over all games.
So true,
This video was an advertisement for Casino Guru's casinos HHAHAHAH
We need to talk
Hate casinos but i continue to lose and go back
Nice vídeo
Blackjack is different. Blackjack odds vary as cards are removed from the deck. When the 5 of diamonds has been played, it can’t come up on the next hand. It can’t come up until the deck is shuffled
. So by increasing your bet when small cards are out, your chances of getting blackjack increase. Both dealer and
Layer have the same chance to get blackjack
, but you get paid 3-2 on your blackjack while the dealer gets only even money. So blackjack can be beaten in the long run.
So why do casinos still offer a game that can be beat in the long run?
@@emmanuelvacakis4463 So what you’re saying is blackjack can be beat, but not really?
I am not a brain surgeon. I am 63 years old and I’ve been a gambler, my whole life you cannot win. Have a nice day. I hope you liked my explanation of how slot machines work also the house edge which I’m not gonna get into. See y’all later I’m gonna go take a shower now and go to work. !!
Casinos are hell.

I use tarot cards to determine if I will win. But it's still not that simple. If I didn't use psychic tools I'd be broke.
It is very sad how many people get hypnotized and lose everything, even worse frequent players that really play "for making a living". It is all about common sense and little knowledge on math, if casinos would be giving money those would be charity houses instead lol.
You can actually beat the casino on blackjack it’s mathematically solved but also very easy to detect so they stop you, card counting has a player edge of about 1.51%
and what's interesting is, those who need to see the video, ignore the video...

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit to learn a casino was involved in this video, somehow…Carry on…
you talk about Poker ? but you don't play against the house
Sounds like what an addict would say
So which game is it, and why do casinos still offer it?
Thanks, 🎲🎲 $$ 💵💰😎
because they is cheater. exactly answer
"Slot machines don't have to be played because they just take all your money." *FALSE*
A slot machine is were designed to pay out real prizes and the percentage that the house collects is very little compared to what you can win by betting a BET with only $1, and win $1.000 or more or the accumulated jackpot. It's all about lucky, there are no tricks or scams, you won't always lose everything, there will be very good proofits where you really win. Tha math it's essential for to casino, because so the house never it will lose.
