I look at the house edge as a "fee" for playing. The fee for Blackjack might be $0.20 on a $25 hand, the fee for Roulette would be $1.30 on a $25 spin. An optimal evening for me would be 150 hands of blackjack, 200 hands of video poker, and 40 spins at roulette. Rough estimate is a loss of $100. Add tips and it's about $130. In 2023, that's a reasonable cost for night of entertainment, and if you're at a lower level casino you can play for much cheaper.

I have been playing Roulette for about twenty years and the game has given me pleasant experiences. I never wanted to win and I wasn't particularly interested in the money part because I always saw it as just entertainment. Practically, I like the atmosphere of the casinos and the cocktails.
I always set aside an amount to spend on it. So for me it's like going to the cinema or something similar. I use almost 100 different strategies and I win more than I lose. I think the only reason I can do this is because I never cared about winning or just relaxing and having fun. The dealers in all organized poker tournament hosted by casinos does a (what looks like) normal Overhand Shuffle. But while the dealer is shuffling they keep track of the cards they want to stack, and with a little practice they can manage to put the exact number of cards in between the cards they want to stack to make the next round of dealing favorable for whoever they choose.

there is no way this can be 100% accurate. How many times, besides every-time, does one leave a slot after pumping money into it with minimal payback walk away and someone sits down and hits immediately? This has to be built into a slot because it happens WAY too often to be "random".

It is built into some slot machines, and less knowledgeable players often do walk away when the machine is "due", leaving it for other players. The majority of slot machines (especially ones not made in the last decade) have little to no such functionality, and choosing to play after someone else dumped a ton of money has no influence on how well you will perform.

The way the game is dealt today, you are lucky to get an overall advantage on your total bets of 0.5%. That means that if you make one bad mistake an hour, you are not making anything. If you make 2 bad mistakes an hour, you are losing money.

Just shuffle away the rich decks and deal the lean one to the bottom. That has the same impact as taking out e few Aces and tens from the deck.

75% isn't the winning chance, it's the RTP (return to player). If you played a game with these odds and sat down with $100 you could expect to lose $25 playing it 50 times.
