- Inspired by Operation Citadel, today's cinematic storytelling comes from the Eastern Front in 1943 when the German's last major assault on the eastern front took place. This is Kursk, which became the largest tank battle in history. Germany's last major offensive started from Orel and Belgorod fronts, near Kharkiv in Ukraine. Armoured spearhead with Tiger tanks, Panthers, and Ferdinand tanks tried to break through Soviet defensive lines, who previously in preparation dug hundreds of miles of trenches and other fortifications. Some epic action happened also in Prokhorovka, where the Soviet T-34s made an all-out counter-assault.

Yes, youtube does not show the necessary attention to the channels that work, Shorts and Tiktok have officially finished Quality content. On the one hand, we have difficulty in producing content while dealing with our own life, and when we find time and prepare content, we do not get fair paid for our efforts.

You certainly pick nice shots, it showed the Carnage and desperation on both sides well. Also the Prokhorovka clash where the first lines of tanks drove diagonally through eachother, according to the stories
The Germans actually won that clash. They destroyed the Russian strategic reserve, the Steppe Front. They withdrew because Hitler ordered the Panzer Corp in that area to transferred to Italy to meet the Allied landing on Sciliy.

Но в ролике мало достоверности. Так, во первых, большинство Фердинандов было потеряно уже на первой линии обороны русских, так как плотность минирования была очень высокой, а Фердинанды часто сбивались с проходов между минными полями и подрывались. Во вторых, да, советские танкисты на Т-34-76 отправлялись массово против Тигров и Пантер. Но данные эпизоды были всего два раза, на разных участках Курского выступа, и произошли они почти в самом начале немецкого наступления. Так как советское командование ничего не могло противопоставить броне новых немецких танков, а положение было тяжёлое.
В третьих, на Курской дуге явно обозначалось превосходство советской авиации, что также поддерживалось советскими ПВО
Здесь же мы видим, как тяжёлые немецкие истребители почти до конца ролика безнаказанно сбрасывают бомбы на советские позиции.
И последнее. На Курской дуге была применена новая тактика расстановки противотанковых орудий. Вместо стандартного построения в линию была изобретена тактика противотанковых районов. Орудия ставились на небольших подготовленных позициях по 4-6 штук, каждое из которых смотрело в разную сторону фронта. Получался некий полукруглый клин. С такой позиции расчеты пошли вести обстрел прямой наводкой на 180-240 градусов сразу.
Ах да, и ещё одно. Советское командование знало о предстоящей атаке нацистов, поэтому предприняло превентивные артобстрелы предполагаемых мест средоточения техники противника, которые начались за несколько часов до начала операции Цитадель. Это позволило уничтожить большое количество техники и живой силы противника, а также ввести его в состояние шока

Russians hid a lot that they won this war. in fact, the Kremlin caught up with 1500 t-34s against 600 German leopards and tigers, no one won this battle, the battle took place only 50 km along the front line. Almost all Russian tanks were destroyed, the Germans lost 400 tanks, 1300 Russian tanks were destroyed, as a result, the Germans withdrew, they realized that there was no point in going further, and the Russians were demoralized.

Yes, it was a real hell. The most epic yet Soviet feature film "Liberation. The arc of Fire." Most likely, it is also available with English subtitles. I am convinced that the authors of the game have watched it and, apparently, more than once. There will be no more such epic films using full-scale technology - now everything is drawn by a computer.

This is one of the best CTA GOH: Ostfront Editor battles I've ever watched. Its so Damn Accurate to the real thing. The shear amount of machinery and men on the field would have been Epic, but terrifying to see.

Saya suka sejarah, terutama sejarah saat perang dunia ke 2 terjadi. Pertempuran Kursk adalah pertempuran tank paling epic dan terbaik menurut saya. Maaf, saya dari Indonesia. Jadi saya menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Tetapi saya menyukai jiwa patriotisme bangsa Rusia. Mereka tidak ingin wilayahnya dikuasai Jerman, tentu itu sama seperti negara kami. Meskipun saya keturunan Chinese, tapi saya sangat mencintai Indonesia. Kami orang Indonesia juga sama, tidak ingin negeri kami kembali di jajah.
Kalian orang Rusia punya jiwa petarung yang tangguh, pertempuran sudah menjadi pengalaman bagi kalian.
Dalam pertempuran Kursk, kalian mengorbankan banyak sekali unit tempur seperti tank. Selain itu, korban jiwa dari pejuang kalian sangat banyak.

Rusia dan Amerika tentu belajar banyak dari perang tersebut.
Tetapi peperangan itu menghasilkan teknologi baru dan mengubah teknologi tempur masa depan. Sekarang, dunia sudah berbeda, dan pertempuran dizaman modern ini lebih mematikan dari zaman dulu. Tetapi kita harus belajar dari sejarah, tiap peperangan pasti akan ada banyak hal yang harus dikorbankan.
Orang yang dicintai, ekonomi, makanan, sumber daya, tempat tinggal, hingga sahabat. Saya berharap tidak ada lagi perang berikutnya. This battle absolutely dwarfs what is currently going-on at roughly the same place.
Excellent presentation. It was interesting to see some T-34 units take multiple hits but still keep firing.

The limitations of the graphic is understandable, but it is amazingly true to the event actually. It really was that level of brutish carnage. And it cost the Germans a lot more than just one battle. This was on par with the Battle of the Bulge for squandering resources they couldn't afford to lose.

@@user-jf4xb9wy4k Я имел в виду, что во время обоих сражений Гитлер тратил впустую ресурсы, которые он не мог позволить себе тратить в тот момент войны. В 43 году Курская битва наверное сократила войну. Вероятно, то же самое произошло и с ним в битве за Арденну.

Very well done!! The only thing missing is that Soviet intelligence knew the time the attack was planned to start and unleashed a massive artillery barrage just as the Nazis were grouping to attack.

My grandfather told me, he was a veteran of the Second World War, I don't remember exactly, but I think he served in the Kantemirovskaya division of the Fourth Guards tank motto.

мой дед бился в этой битве .подбил 3 танка 2 пазика 3 и 1 пантеру которая потеряла ход подорващий на мине . награжден за эту битву орденом красной звезды и медалью за отвагу .автор ролика не показал рассвет имено на рассвете советская артилерия и авиация нанесла упреждающий удар по района сосредотачения противника . не показал что многии пантеры и тигры подрывались на минах . а чтоб взять ПтОпы .пришлось поднимать авиацию . из 65 укрепрайнов в первой полосе снесли 56. во 2 полосе из 125 снесли 70 . до 3 не дошли . мой дед находился во 2 полосе ему повезло так как перед его позициями был овраг . те кто был в первой полосе почти все погибли . за 3 дня боев из 137 человек в его роте осталось в строю 16 человек . 56 раненых . дед за время боев сменил 3 орудия одно раздили у 2 кончились снаряды . как он говорил это был суший ад . на той земле еще долго не расло ни чего из за разлитого топлива оставшийся мин снарядо и железа . сейчас там памятник и растет пщеница и подсолнухи .Вечная память павщим .

Just a thing I'd point out is about the audio that fizzles often, don't know if it's the actual game audio that sounds like this or if the loudness is exceeding over the 0DB limit, in the latter case, normalize audio & compression will fix it!
Thanks, ZaeN. The game engine cannot handle too many sounds being played so some will go missing and some will be added as after effect to boost the loudness of certain sounds, that go missing during the gameplay. The audio certainly can and will be improved.

It were a few regiments in the Red Army equiped with the British Mk IV "Churchill" heavy tanks taken under the Lend-Lease programme that took part in the Battle of Kursk.
