Wizards mentioned at least 32 times:
00:40 Sounds like a Wizard, definitely some Wizard shenanigans
01:00 It's a little bit easier with the Wizards
01:03 We don't wanna kill the Wizard host
01:13 What is the Wizard doing? Wizard, that's hilarious though
01:26 I hear Wizardry behind me
01:31 That Wizard lOves that attack
01:49 Wizard doesn't do that much damage
02:13 The Wizard though, I wish the Wizard would go away
02:28 You do be Wizardring
02:58 Hi there Wizard
03:48 We'll give you a bow though Mr. Wizard
21:14 I think Wizardry is worse
38:31 Hi there, Wizard
39:50 We're goinfortheWizard, go for the Wizard
40:02 You're tanky for a Wizard
46:32 Phallus the Wise - that sounds like a Wizard
46:36 Definitely sounds like the name of a Wizard
47:00 WIzaaard! Sounds like another Wizard attacking
47:16 Oh actually that Wizard has some sword sorceries
47:26 Cuz that will just hurt the Wizard
48:09 Not the Wizard
50:08 A Wizard, Wizard, Wizard, no Wizard sound?
50:17 OK, we're out of range of the Wizard
50:26 I will just tank all your Wizardry

31:10 Op! Ha! That's kinda funny
42:41 Ah, Fire your Fire how do you feel about that?
44:20 This is Not Good at all.
whoah, this episode was looooaded with wizards
.4?
probably something along the lines of "there's a wiz- ah nevermind"@@73193
way too hyped for every update of this series
hey! quick tip for the scarlet rot area! the scarlet lake's rot proc is the strongest in the game, however if you roll in the rot and then get out of it and get poisoned by the residual body rot rather than the lake itself you get a much weaker version of it, this could be very useful if you're low on both fp and boluses
I never thought of this
That Fire Giant fight was incredible. Definitively epic. I will now stop calling my friends "bro" out of respect for your skill.
Chase: I fought the giant and had to use all my estus.
Normal peoole: we died like 50 times...
I absolutely LOVE this series man!!
Venomous Fang has become the St. Trina Torch. Chase has it but refuses to use it. Poisons the Fire Giant with a basic poison infusion instead which does half the damage.
Things to see and do in the Lands Between, Vol. 19:
*Important*
Go do everything else before Malekith especially if you want Black Flame Protection.
Farum Azula:
Kill Bernie and get Old lords
Kill Alex and get Shard
Mountaintops:
Ancient Smithing Stone in a big skull up the hill from Okina’s fight.
Hero’s grave has Giants seal, and a chance at a Watchdogs greatsword. Lighter than Guts, requires less dex, prefers elemental infusion.
Leyndell:
Bolt of Gransax
Gravel Seal
Black Bow, all missable after Malekith.
Caelid:
Turn in your Deathroot
Kill beast man for Ancient Smithing Stone
Visit Jerren to start his quest
Altus:
Earthshaker AoW
Nights cavalry
Volcano Manor:
Quest rewards
Serpent Hunter
BERNAHLS AoWs before you kill him.
Liurnia:
Watchdog Staff - pure STR colossal.
Sellen/Jerren quest.
Limgrave:
Sellen/Jerren Quest
Nepheli quest
Both Ancient smithing stone rewards
Roundtable Hold:
Cash in rememberences for weapons and AoWs.
As for the next playthrough, bring back the dexy witch and wear Alberich’s hat.
Definitely appreciated!
@@ChaseTheBro You’re welcome. I’m sure you don’t actually *need* the advice but I’m invested in the meme now.
Vyke’s armor, he is in the ghaol in the mountaintops.
The fire giant is actually not just strong to fire, but to frostbite as well.
This series has been great, can't wait to see the next run!
At 47:14 i relize the amount of wizardry you come across its like your a magnet for but then again you always do have so much fun pyting the hurt on the magic really neat series seeing a pvp build and how they preform in pve as well 🎉
by far my favorite series of all ER content. I get mad when I have to wait a couple days 😭
For those wondering, in the latest version of the game (at least) Milicent's questline isn't affected by burning the Erdtree or even killing Maliketh. In my recent playthrough, I was already in the Haligtree (after killing Maliketh) and I hadn't even given the Valkyrie's Prosthesis to Milicent but I was able to fully complete her quest.
Only thing I remember from 2nd phase, “Stand under his taint and whale on his junk”
Bro i live for these, i wanna do a run like this so bad. I suck at elden ring pvp but i feel like this would be great practise tbh
sink or swim
I’m always stoked for this play through. I haven’t even played elden ring, I just love his personality and imagine him fighting irl with the background talking too
Seeing chase take the fire giant on without hitting poise break spots or the eye is real pain 😂
I never realised how much I enjoyed this series until I jumped for joy when a new ep drops now I cannot get enough, chase has become my comfort show
Easily the most dramatic Fire Giant fight I've seen. Pure Chase talent, though, because he went with suboptimal weapon setup and yet he prevailed. Had he killed the Godskin dude in Windmill Village first, get the twin sword with Black Flame Tornado in it and phase II would have been a walk in the park.
Yuuup that's the woes of using stat ailments on Fire Giant, it's fine in phase 1 but as soon as phase 2 starts things go south quick. The man moves around more with one less leg than he does when he has two, he really is built different
I'm loving it man, keep the great work ❤️
Chase, I love you and this series bro.
Great FIRE GIANT kill, first time was awesome, Love the series ❤
Someday we'll finally see that dagger you keep upgraiding in action 😂
that fire giant fight was dope lol he comboed tf outta you how you managed to survive is beyond my comprehension regardless great fight
I cheese the fire giant with Black Flame Tornado AOW. Does like 10k damage each time and like 12k if your faith.
Whenever I see the Dung Eater in this game, I always remember Game Grumps and what they named their character in Bloodborne lmao ^w^
The nostalgia is real lmao, great video as always Chase! :3
The wizard at the beginning was just an innocent new player it felt like, kinda cute.
Edit: Seriously, what is up with phantoms sitting there baiting their hosts? Is it some kind of meta now?
After over 30 different playthroughs and multiple days of invasions I'm just now learning that Fire Giant has a Site of Grace. You do, indeed, learn something new everyday
Watching this series made me buy elden ring a few days ago, proud to say I just got level 100! Haven’t played a souls game since dark souls 3 a long time ago so I’ve been a bit rusty
Ignore the scam right here guys ^
black knife showcase is falling in happiness
For most of the time you see that Chase struggling against his habits than opponents.
Woo! Hype!
Heh, first time I fought mr Fire Giant I used Blasphemous Blade and a Flame Art Greatsword... talk about uphill battle 🤣. Still got it done in one go.
I think most people tend to be lvl 100+ at the Mountaintops, with +9-10/+23-25 weapons.
Btw, if you have not gotten the Anastasia Man-Eater invasion in the church on the border of Limgrave and Caellid yet, I suggest doing that before going to Consecrated Snowfield... she may not drop the Ancient Somber Stone otherwise.
hey chase, are you planning to do streams again ? it's been a while since the last one
Always looking forward to this series, perfect way to end my day.
I think an arcane build with hero as the starting class could serve you well with making a complimentary base character for future optimized builds. Another option is dex/int with the prisoner class.
Yeah i was thinking hero as well. Its optimal for bleed and dragon builds. I currently only have a vagabond starting class, so it would definitely be useful
absolutely loving this series, already looking forward to the other playthrough. would also be alot of fun if u could stream some of the 2nd playthrough on here!
I love your rivers of blood sound effects every time
The fight against the fire giant was very exciting. It's nice the game manages to put Chase under pressure for being underleveled and self-capped with lower weapon upgrades, even if it's just for a moment :D
Nice episode!
A TICH SUMMONS WOULD BE AWESOME.
This series inspired me to play elden ring again, love it!
Maybe you could sell the rune arcs for some extra runes, they are earned through PvP
Super awesome series! 💪💪
Great series! Hey i've noticed you don't often do the full Stormcaller Ash of War, does it not roll catch well? If all of those inputs hit it's insane
The hype for this séries is insane
Loving these daily videos. ❤️
I few tips to make Fire Giant much easier.
Always stay close to him. His ranged attack are much more difficult to dodge than just close range atttacks. That is including his 2nd phase, by the time you finally manage to land a fully charged attack on the hand, you could be landing 10 normal attacks on his thigh, which does alot more damage in the long run.
Fire Giant can be frosted, but he has high resistance to it. Bleed on the other hand is very easy to proc over and over again.
He is weak to slash, so a bleed infused Shamshir has great damage per second.
Also for the love of god, the lock on is especially atrocious on FIre Giant. I dont know what platform you are on, but on especially on PC, its better to just free aim. You do free aiming really well in PvP, its not so much different in PvE.
Here lies one of the best series.
Lighting is good against dragons.
Bro this was a very good series
Can't believe still following the series. Love it!! I might have missed it, but did you get the Ruins Greatsword? It would be great with your strength build.
Chase CANNOT be stopped
Dex/bleed sounds great
Agree that arcane should come after dex or strength since ashes of war are so important and the arcane scaling weapons aren't great
Please do a dex/arcane run for the next build. The early game poison is so strong and was my favorite part of this run. Seeing you poison over level phantoms with no boluses was the cream of the crop!
My favourite bit was when you told a phallus to hide its rocks.
for the next playthrough, you should become that which you swore to destroy.....
The fire liver helped me against the fire giant and the first time I fought him I was level 160 cause I was running around blind trying to make sure I wasn't missing anything and some farming cause there was enemy drops I wanted. I did feel a little over levelled, but after reaching the mountaintop of the giants everything hits like a truck
If you want to avoid needing to run past the Banished Knights every time you want to retry the Godskin Duo fight, go to the grace right before the hallway with the first knight, turn around, and JUMP down to the stairs below, then continue falling. This will take you to another site of grace where there will be no enemies between the grace and the boss!
Funny note chase. Those lesser dragons drop gravel stones. Pop a silver pickle fowl foot and fill its head with kukris and it should start erupting into bleed with every headshot. Wait do dragons bleed? Well anything else hit in the head usually burst into bleed.
Yo another fire ep
Chase has made every boss fight seem so easy
Just a thought on Chase´s mention how it would be great/make perfect sense gameplay-wise if your stamina wouldn´t stop to regen when you do a crit: Lies of P did that.
It might be a minor thing to some, but to me it was a source of great joy. Just as with back in Remnant 1, when I found a checkoint before every boss, right in front of the boss room.
Miyasaki, take notes...
Great video as always, cheers from Germany
I had recently fought fire giant with the Venomous Fangs, and he can be poisoned and frosted both phases
Dex bleed sounds great. Weirdly, I want to see you play a caster for the schadenfreude.
That giant fight did not disappoint.
When I see the stone count in the thumbnail, I don't even bother adding to the watch list
another banger video
If you ever do something like this again, you totally should! Except make it a taunter tongue run. I think it could be interesting, and if you streamed it would even be able to make an event out of it with your viewers. I'm sure plenty would be interested in that if you'd be down for it.
Curious. After this series, what would be your thoughts on doing a run while taunters tounged?
Chase, have you thought about trying armored core 6? Its realy good!
Weapon upgrade cost is tied to weight so when you get a overleveled phantom prioritise your heavier weapons first
Would be cool if you did a live Stream on this only invading
Next episode try to remember to get Waves od Darkness and put them maybe on zwei with frost infusion. AFAIK waves inflict frostbite 💪
the title raining runes explain Chase going psycho happy go killing many hi lvl phantoms in this eps
Imagine how many more runes chase would have if he curbed his bloodlust. 😂.
Black flame tornado works wonders on the fire giant
You should perform an experiment where you only use rivers of blood's L2 for the whole video and see how many people you can kill
Chase never misses
Day 17 of asking for a bow only+throwables run? Only defensive ashes on melee weapons, runes don't matter, but you only get a level for ever successful invasion. Goal being to be at least 120 before Elden beast
I'd love to see some scything, even if the grave scythe needs killing skeletons, there is still the great scythe in a cave in liurnia.
He’s got it, but it’s a dex weapon
@@kiltysalter2966 yeah, but he was asking for his next playthrough right?
@@Feanor1988bis oh yeah sure, I though you meant for this one! 🤙🏻
my dude would have been level 200 by now if he learned how to stop killing the hosts.... like half the invasions he just kills the host instead of the phantoms and it's honestly hilarious.
A lore thing that bugs me - the Beastmen of Farum Azula are red lightning Dex creatures, and Maliketh is their leader (of sorts, and is definitely a “Dex creature” the way he jumps around)… but, the Bestial incantations and seal are Strength-focused. Shouldn’t they be Dex-focused? You could keep it all the same, basically, but I feel like to be more Farum Azula-ish, that seal should scale with Dex instead of Strength. Then I’d have the Giant’s seal pick up a Strength scaling…
Haven't seen you use Guts Greatsword this playthrough, even though you're running a strength build.
omg omg we need a cliffhanger on episode 20 :P
the pickaxe with chilling mist ash is most effective against dragons they're weak to pierce and frost and it has crazy stagger
i would like to see a faith run
I looked youuuu Chase!
This episode is just Chase accidentally killing hosts.
It's still a little funny, but please, Chase. Try to save the host for last
Wunderbar!
The playthrough of all pvp!
Hey do you have Loretta's slash yet?
Is this worth buying? Or am i too late for the updates?
It's been a while since you do invasion stream
A weezahd dragooon!!!
Chasethebro, more like...
Chasethebeans.
I think you killed me. I loved it lol
Lightning is OP lmao 😭
Chad claymore user
poison build with a bit of rot as well.
