The antique store in New Bern was called "Kind of Blue" and it was very large. Your friends will love New Bern. It had a small town feeling with all the amenities of a big town.

A very interesting book this week, I have seen this husband and wife team decorating in the mentioned magazines. They seem to be able to incorporate all era's in their decor, sometimes making it very eclectic but it seems to work the modern with the antique. I enjoyed your garden visit and drive through New Bern, I visited there many years ago when I lived in Virginia, beautiful restored homes and lovely gardens as I remember. GREAT suggestion. Yes, I have been there and it was a true museum store. The logistics of retrieving a piece of china, crystal or sliver that a customer has requested is almost as interesting as the item itself. I will keep that in mind. Thanks!
