Thank you. I enjoyed doing it! Unfortunately it doesnt look like that anymore. Seriously thinking on buying another shell and redoing it as a shelf queen as I really do like it
Love the paint job, Glenn! Shame about the bleed, but we've all been there! I'm impressed by your detailing on the bed, though. Top looking truck, mate! :O)
Thank you, it was. I have a few more in the pipeline along with making the build pile smaller. Although saying that, Tamiya have announced a few that I like. Best get building I suppose
Really love this racing tractor! Love love the cab over style! These rigs in real life are so impressive. I’m excited to see how this goes! Totally agree with the age and patience thing!😜🍻
final job looks good mate ,I love the Rothmans look 😎 To help stop bleed 1st spray a light coat of clear to seal the tape edge or a light coat of colour but then use a hair dryer in between each coat , another way is to use fine line tape for the edges thats like a rubber tape that seals better than tamiya tape ,
Cheers, much appreciated. And huge thanks for the tips. I will take them on board for the next bodies. I don't need a hair dryer so will 'borrow' the wifes one 🤣
At about 15 seconds in I believe that is what's called foreshadowing 😊😅. They both look sweet guys 👍 , well for a little while. I forgot how much detail you have to paint in your body shell
🤣🤣🤣 you know exactly what it looks like now.. lol. Just had it apart on the bench. It wasn't the servo in the end. Hit a wall and half popped a drive shaft out.. a few other bits done too.. see what happens on Tuesday... it'll either help or... i'll still be bottom 😁😁
Nicely done mate!!! Great job on the body!!!!! Plus, you sniff the tires like a pro!!!!!
It has to be done lol
I've hit subscribe based on how immense the livery choice is 😊

@@davidhiscock1969 haha, wouldnt bet on it
@@rivierarc you haven't seen me driving anything faster than a crawler lol 😆. P.s. what ps paint did you need to finish the Alpine ?
@@davidhiscock1969 its mainly clears for the lighting
What type of paint did you use on the engine?
Thanks for sharing, nice paint job.
Tamiyas own paints.
@@rivierarc oh, spray cans or acrylics? Enamel? Thanks a bunch.
@@o46b83 they are all the PS paints range for lexan/polycarbonate. Other paints will not stick and will flake off.
@@rivierarc thank you.
