    Good job! I’ve watched a dozen tie dye vids but none on poly blends. Yours was great.

    Is the fabric dry when you begin the process or should it be damp?

    And do I need the color stay stuff for this to work with the dyemore product?

    • @tameless7125

      Its definitely recommended by myself and RIT to help the color last longer as I know from experience most of the dye will wash away in the machine or rinse if you dont! #subscribe

    I thought you had to boil the clothes if you are using the RIT Dyemore product? Also can you use two colours for RIT Dyemore?

    • @tameless7125
      @tameless7125  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rit's recommended directions are to boil but this works just as well as i've now washed these pieces a few times and the color has held up well!

      Ditto this comment. I should’ve watched this before I wasted color since this hard to find now. I had too much water. 😒. Thank you. Great vid.

    hello, just wondering where did you get your clothing from?

      Amazon for the longsleeve tees and Boohoo for the sweatsuit! Links are in the bio!

    My hoodies have metal where the string goes, so what do you recommend in lieu of microwaving?

    • @tameless7125
      @tameless7125  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would suggest putting it out in the sun for a few hours! #subscribe

    Can you try dye something that's already pink? Asking for myself I got a bathing suit and it's pink and I want to give it more color

    • @tameless7125
      @tameless7125  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can but you’ll have to keep in mind a few things. A. Your colors won’t be the same as packaged as they will be mixing with pink vs being on white. B. Most swimsuits are nylon blends so you would most definitely have to use rit dye more for synthetics vs regular rit. C. I would be careful with the microwave part as again you’re working with nylon!
      With all that being said I hope it turns out great!

      Tameless awesome thank you so much! And did you wash the clothes after you robbed them in cold water? Or do you just let them dry?

    How long do you microwave? I am using RIT Dyemore on poly/cotton

    • @tameless7125
      @tameless7125  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      2 min wrapped in the plastic but be sure the plastic isn’t tied to tight and of course it depends on your microwave wattage! #subscribe

      Tameless do you think it would work with 100% polyester since the ritdyemore is meant for synthetic fabrics?

      @@laylahilmi7124 The Rit Dye more will definitely work on that fabric as thats what it is intended for but i would say to test it on something else first! #Subscribe
