Suzuki LTZ400 - Keihin FCR39 First Ride

This is the first ride with the Keihin FCR39 built by Jet Lab carbs. This thing rips even with stock (14/40) gearing and big heavy 6 ply 20" GBC XC Master tires. I wish I would have geared down to 13/40 like I usually do with the bigger tires but this carb almost makes up for it in the way it pulls right off idle. Way more snappy/punchy than the stock Mikuni BSR36 CV Carb that comes on the LTZ400 and DRZ400 S/SM from the factory. Overall a great buy and well worth the money.
Side note: Danny at Jet Labs installs an R&D Flex Jet fuel crew. This thing is AWESOME. He mentions you may have to adjust the fuel screw twice a day, once in the morning when its cooler and once again in the afternoon when its hotter. When I started riding this morning it was 75 degrees, by 11am the temp was closing in on 90 degrees. Sure enough I had to back out the fuel screw a half turn (leaner) for it to idle properly.
