This was peak cw flash. The way they handled crisis was amazing. Particularly how this is almost panel for panel what happens in the comic. And in my opinion this was his best suit besides the og one

One thing I missed when watching the episode, is that Jay had a red arrow pointing right at Earth 2 for where the next anti-matter wave would hit. Only after Arrow ended and I saw a screen cap from Matt Mittovich of TV Line did I notice it. I also saw when looking more at the map of Earths that 15 was destroyed in 1986. And one looks like there were Flash Wars.
I have 4 theories, 1. Cisco makes himself gauntlets that replicate his powers, 2. The monitor gives him his powers back because they will be essential to the crisis, 3. Cisco reverse engineers the meta cure to give him his powers back, or 4. It will be an alternate universe Cisco who didn't take the cure. Explaining theory 1, If you all would recall at the end of season 4, when thinker blocked Caitlin's powers, and Cisco gave her the wrist devices that shot ice, I believe he will alter he vibe gauntlets to replicate his vibrational energies. Theory 2, I believe has backing in the fact that the monitor has been preparing for the crisis. He did something with lex luthor's body at the end of Supergirl season 4, and last episode of flash he stated that he deleted Nora's message to take away hope. We can only assume that all of these actions will be essential to the crisis and possibly giving Cisco his powers back will be important to that. Theory 3 seems self explanatory so I'll move on to theory 4, which in it self is self explanatory but I'll move on. We know that multiple earths will be involved in the crisis and another Cisco will be involved.
It could be that he takes the stuff that he gave to Shay Lamden that turned him back into King Shark permanently after he'd been cured, so that he could fight Gorilla Grodd.
@@METerrell if I recall correctly, he didn't give him anything, the cure didn't permanently work on king shark and they planned to give him a second dose, but instead Cisco used his powers to give him a vibrational jolt and speed up his mutation, but I could be wrong.
That was sad when Barry was talking to his Mum as he haven’t seen her in years, that’s why he was sad about his late-father on Earth 3 in Season 2 as his Dad died and had not seen him and if I was Barry, I would be upset as my dog died and if I was in Barry’s shoes, to be able to change time and go to different Earths I would do it as I really do miss my dog. When barry battles reverse flash in his house(as seen in season 1), he had gold lightning, but since Nora fucked up the timeline(just like her dad), he will stay with the orange lightning and not gold

i just don't get it, if the flash must die, not clarified who.. why explain it to earth 1 flash? well that's just stupid, I know the show isn't stupid enough to leave that extremely huge plot hole, of not just saying it to earth 1 barry at the first place, it also might change the possible future of the specific "flash" because the earth 1 barry is pressured, causing him to do things that might just cause everything to go wrong.. overall it's just a stupid idea.. I would love to see the show actually get creative about how we're going to deal with this. I also hope they don't go with oliver taking his place or anybody else taking his place and sacrifice, just so the show can be more creative in trying to bring him back or stopping him from dieing.
Honestly, if the writers do that route i'm gonna be pissed. Not because i want Barry to die, but because it would be such an obvious and stupid way of saving Barry. Barry dying as predicted would be awesome narratively speaking, as it would line up the audience with the statement of the Monitor, which is probably a reverse psychology shenanigan. He acts as if there's no hope in order to give Barry hope so he does his best in the Crisis, and his hope is what ultimately will be his death saving everyone else. It would shake and leave permanent and huge scars throughout the entire Arrowverse, instead of just going the cartoon route of technicality.
I have a very very very good theory and I have faith that it is true, this is my theory: As Jay Garrick said, Barry was experiencing billions of timelines, in the books, the Original Flash dies in the crisis, but it’s possible that CW Flash is based on the CW timeline which is a timeline where Barry never died in crisis, it’s possible that his mind went into the Original Flash’s timeline and saw him die in crisis, which was never him to begin with, the night his mother died, the Original Flash and Reverse-Flash traveled to a different timeline, CW timeline, so actually Reverse-Flash always thought he was fighting the Original Flash, which he wasn’t, he was fighting the CW Timeline Flash, a timeline which Reverse-Flash accidentally made by making him the Flash and killing his mother, in doing so, he made a entire Flash on the CW Timeline, which is different from the Original Flash timeline, since in the Original Flash timeline, Barry Allen actually dies, the clip of Barry seeing himself getting vaporized in crisis (in this video), his mind was actually looking at the Original Flash timeline. My point being: Monitor was always wrong, and Original Flash has a different timeline, my other point: Reverse Flash is actually the maker of the CW Flash timeline, as he thought CW Barry Allen was destined to be Original Flash, the Flash that Reverse-Flash fought in his timeline, which is completely wrong, so Eobard Thawne unknowingly made a CW Timeline Barry Allen, who was never destined to be flash in the first place. In this video, Jay Garrick said, “It’s not just a new timeline he’s found, it’s billions of them, and Barry’s mind is experiencing them all”, Billion Timelines, one being the Original Flash Timeline, the timeline which Barry saw the Flash (thinking it was him), die in Crisis. I literally just found this out, so if it turns out that someone else thought of it before me, I didn’t get the idea from them. Also, in the CW Flash Timeline, Dawn and Don Allen are erased from the timeline, Jenni Ognats, who is the Granddaughter of the Original Flash, is actually Nora West-Allen, who is the daughter of the CW Flash, and Bart Allen who is the GrandSon of Original Flash, is actually the Son of CW Flash, what I’m trying to say is that Reverse-Flash messed with the timeline without knowing the secrets hidden with the night that CW Nora Allen died, Reverse Flash unknowingly erased Dawn Allen, Don Allen, and turned Jenni Ognats who is the daughter of Dawn Allen into Nora West-Allen, the daughter of CW Flash, and turned Bart Allen, who in the Original Timeline is actually the Grand-Son of Original Flash, to the Son of CW Flash. Basically the Original Timeline is probably still in existence as it’s proven that the Multi-Verse can have a lot of timelines, but there’s a possibility that Crisis either erased the Original Timeline due to being cut to One Universe. The following are the changes that happened because of the night when CW Nora Allen died: CW Barry Allen to CW Flash Original Jenni Ognats to CW Nora West-Allen CW Bart Allen to CW Bart Allen Tornado Twins (Don and Dawn Allen) erased from the CW Timeline. CW Nora dies. Original Timeline Flash never fights with Original Reverse Flash (Possible that he fought time remnants) Grandson of Original Barry Allen to Son of CW Barry Allen Granddaughter of Original Barry Allen to Daughter of CW Barry Allen And Way way More. I’m also agreeing on the fact that CW wrongfully decided to change the entire series (Respectfully Made by DC Comics), literally, they decided to make a literal different timeline which ruined the Flash. Literally, it will be a dream come true seeing such a good comic book coming to a show based on the accurate information and on the books, CW literally messed up when they decided to make a whole new timeline. Also, the Speed Force is beyond space and time, so it basically has access to every timeline and can not be manipulated by time, what I’m saying is that the Speed Force always knew the Original Flash, how CW Barry was never meant to be flash, yet they kept it from him, shows how much a force of nature, the Speed Force really ruined CW Barry Allens life. That space that Barry is running in looks REALLY similar to the black hole Chester made in episode 1 of season 6. Can't wait to see WHY Barry has to die to save the multiverse. It would also be the reason why Barry would have Iris keep their child's speedster powers a secret. He knew that, if he/she finds out their a speedster, he/she would eventually get to Barry's level, and could be targeted to be used as a sacrifice for another huge incident like this. It would keep the child out of harm in the long run (pun intended)
Poor Barry he always gets disintegrated. That's at least 4 times now - twice in season 2, twice in season 5 (3 if you include Earth 90 Barry). Poor dude can't catch a break.
Spoilers In a Marvel comic, all the speedsters across the earth/universe comes together for a race and then some guy appears out of nowhere and finish the race before them all and he said his name was Barred Allen and the last thing he remembered was he was running from something.
I can just imagine the writers of this show in the theater for Infinity War, watching Doctor Strange do this _exact_ thing and scrambling with pencils and notepads screaming, "Write that down! Write that down!"

I preferred the earlier seasons where when we had a close-up of Barry running he was running at like 16 steps a second, this new run cycle where we are supposed to believe he's travelling at mach 5 or whatever but he Looks like he's jogging on a treadmill isn't good. It's the same for all speedsters nowadays too
Imagine 6 long seasons of the flash, all that build-up for nothing. Billions of possible futures and doesn't even see one possible future where he lives. They don't even show the big speedster fight with reverse flash
Or at least not show us Grant Gustin’s Barry being the one to die, have Grant Gustin’s Barry straight up say “this is the one single way anyone survives Crisis” and then for no explained reason have it turn out that it’s a different Barry Allen in a different scenario (running on the treadmill) the whole time. If it had stayed an unseen prophecy from the Monitor, then it works. Our big twist is that we thought it was our Barry Allen but the 90s Flash is also Barry Allen. When they show it on screen though, they have to explain why what we saw isn’t what played out. It’s like when Savitar killed Iris. They make a whole big deal about Barry not being able to change what happens, so the way they get around it is by having it play out exactly how Barry saw it but reveal it was HR in disguise. Here, there’s no tricky explanation. They just opt out and go in a different direction.
Theory: what if Barry does die in crisis but not that year Barry, what if when 2024 flash fights reverse flash and they both go back in time to the night his mom died, but after Barry got his younger self out of their he went into the speed force back in time to crisis to die saving the other Barry’s life (remember when jay replaced wallys sentence in the speed force in season 3) that’s what he does for Barry on earth 90 so Barry of earth 1 in 2024 dies but his speed trail that was traveling behind him turned into a lightning bolt that travels to the night of the particle accelerator explosion being the bolt that strikes him. 1. That would be similar to the comics, Barry being the lightning bolt that strikes him, and 2. Oliver saying back in season one of the flash that that lightning bolt chose him.
That's exactly what's happening I know it because we know when the show end he varnishing and I been paying attention I think there just keeping it a secret.
So I’m curious. Barry in the next scene explains that he experienced every possible future all at once, and the only one with a chance is the one we see here where he dies. How is it then, that despite seeing it himself clearly, it turns out that “The Flash must die” refers to 90s Barry? It would have worked for me if it had stayed an unseen prophecy, “Barry Allen dies in Crisis” turning out to be Barry from a different universe, but we see it happen here and then later on it happens differently (on the treadmill) to a different Barry. I genuinely think I’m missing something. That, on top of the Reverse Flash being completely uninvolved in Crisis after years of explicitly building up the fight, Reverse Flash’s preceding appearance literally saying “see you next Crisis” to Barry, for no in universe explanation at all. The production team said they just didn’t feel obligated to follow through on that setup which sucked in my opinion. That’s my two biggest criticisms of otherwise my absolute favorite arc in the Arrowverse. Crisis delivered in so many awesome ways.

i just don't get it, if the flash must die, not clarified who.. why explain it to earth 1 flash? well that's just stupid, I know the show isn't stupid enough to leave that extremely huge plot hole, of not just saying it to earth 1 barry at the first place, it also might change the possible future of the specific "flash" because the earth 1 barry is pressured, causing him to do things that might just cause everything to go wrong.. overall it's just a stupid idea.. I would love to see the show actually get creative about how we're going to deal with this. I also hope they don't go with oliver taking his place or anybody else taking his place and sacrifice, just so the show can be more creative in trying to bring him back or stopping him from dieing.
Honestly, if the writers do that route i'm gonna be pissed. Not because i want Barry to die, but because it would be such an obvious and stupid way of saving Barry.
Barry dying as predicted would be awesome narratively speaking, as it would line up the audience with the statement of the Monitor, which is probably a reverse psychology shenanigan. He acts as if there's no hope in order to give Barry hope so he does his best in the Crisis, and his hope is what ultimately will be his death saving everyone else.
It would shake and leave permanent and huge scars throughout the entire Arrowverse, instead of just going the cartoon route of technicality.
I have a very very very good theory and I have faith that it is true, this is my theory:
As Jay Garrick said, Barry was experiencing billions of timelines, in the books, the Original Flash dies in the crisis, but it’s possible that CW Flash is based on the CW timeline which is a timeline where Barry never died in crisis, it’s possible that his mind went into the Original Flash’s timeline and saw him die in crisis, which was never him to begin with, the night his mother died, the Original Flash and Reverse-Flash traveled to a different timeline, CW timeline, so actually Reverse-Flash always thought he was fighting the Original Flash, which he wasn’t, he was fighting the CW Timeline Flash, a timeline which Reverse-Flash accidentally made by making him the Flash and killing his mother, in doing so, he made a entire Flash on the CW Timeline, which is different from the Original Flash timeline, since in the Original Flash timeline, Barry Allen actually dies, the clip of Barry seeing himself getting vaporized in crisis (in this video), his mind was actually looking at the Original Flash timeline. My point being: Monitor was always wrong, and Original Flash has a different timeline, my other point: Reverse Flash is actually the maker of the CW Flash timeline, as he thought CW Barry Allen was destined to be Original Flash, the Flash that Reverse-Flash fought in his timeline, which is completely wrong, so Eobard Thawne unknowingly made a CW Timeline Barry Allen, who was never destined to be flash in the first place. In this video, Jay Garrick said, “It’s not just a new timeline he’s found, it’s billions of them, and Barry’s mind is experiencing them all”, Billion Timelines, one being the Original Flash Timeline, the timeline which Barry saw the Flash (thinking it was him), die in Crisis. I literally just found this out, so if it turns out that someone else thought of it before me, I didn’t get the idea from them. Also, in the CW Flash Timeline, Dawn and Don Allen are erased from the timeline, Jenni Ognats, who is the Granddaughter of the Original Flash, is actually Nora West-Allen, who is the daughter of the CW Flash, and Bart Allen who is the GrandSon of Original Flash, is actually the Son of CW Flash, what I’m trying to say is that Reverse-Flash messed with the timeline without knowing the secrets hidden with the night that CW Nora Allen died, Reverse Flash unknowingly erased Dawn Allen, Don Allen, and turned Jenni Ognats who is the daughter of Dawn Allen into Nora West-Allen, the daughter of CW Flash, and turned Bart Allen, who in the Original Timeline is actually the Grand-Son of Original Flash, to the Son of CW Flash. Basically the Original Timeline is probably still in existence as it’s proven that the Multi-Verse can have a lot of timelines, but there’s a possibility that Crisis either erased the Original Timeline due to being cut to One Universe. The following are the changes that happened because of the night when CW Nora Allen died:
CW Barry Allen to CW Flash
Original Jenni Ognats to CW Nora West-Allen
CW Bart Allen to CW Bart Allen
Tornado Twins (Don and Dawn Allen) erased from the CW Timeline.
CW Nora dies.
Original Timeline Flash never fights with Original Reverse Flash (Possible that he fought time remnants)
Grandson of Original Barry Allen to Son of CW Barry Allen
Granddaughter of Original Barry Allen to Daughter of CW Barry Allen
And Way way More.
I’m also agreeing on the fact that CW wrongfully decided to change the entire series (Respectfully Made by DC Comics), literally, they decided to make a literal different timeline which ruined the Flash. If CW had made a show entirely on the Original Flash and the Original Timeline, it would be so GREAT!! Literally, it will be a dream come true seeing such a good comic book coming to a show based on the accurate information and on the books, CW literally messed up when they decided to make a whole new timeline.
Also Point being made, the comic books and series shows that the Multi-Verse made Barry Allen a LEGEND in every timeline, Respect!
Also, the Speed Force is beyond space and time, so it basically has access to every timeline and can not be manipulated by time, what I’m saying is that the Speed Force always knew the Original Flash, how CW Barry was never meant to be flash, yet they kept it from him, shows how much a force of nature, the Speed Force really ruined CW Barry Allens life.

That space that Barry is running in looks REALLY similar to the black hole Chester made in episode 1 of season 6. Can't wait to see WHY Barry has to die to save the multiverse. It would also be the reason why Barry would have Iris keep their child's speedster powers a secret. He knew that, if he/she finds out their a speedster, he/she would eventually get to Barry's level, and could be targeted to be used as a sacrifice for another huge incident like this. It would keep the child out of harm in the long run (pun intended)

In a Marvel comic, all the speedsters across the earth/universe comes together for a race and then some guy appears out of nowhere and finish the race before them all and he said his name was Barred Allen and the last thing he remembered was he was running from something.

I preferred the earlier seasons where when we had a close-up of Barry running he was running at like 16 steps a second, this new run cycle where we are supposed to believe he's travelling at mach 5 or whatever but he Looks like he's jogging on a treadmill isn't good. It's the same for all speedsters nowadays too

Imagine 6 long seasons of the flash, all that build-up for nothing. Billions of possible futures and doesn't even see one possible future where he lives. They don't even show the big speedster fight with reverse flash
Or at least not show us Grant Gustin’s Barry being the one to die, have Grant Gustin’s Barry straight up say “this is the one single way anyone survives Crisis” and then for no explained reason have it turn out that it’s a different Barry Allen in a different scenario (running on the treadmill) the whole time. If it had stayed an unseen prophecy from the Monitor, then it works. Our big twist is that we thought it was our Barry Allen but the 90s Flash is also Barry Allen. When they show it on screen though, they have to explain why what we saw isn’t what played out.
It’s like when Savitar killed Iris. They make a whole big deal about Barry not being able to change what happens, so the way they get around it is by having it play out exactly how Barry saw it but reveal it was HR in disguise. Here, there’s no tricky explanation. They just opt out and go in a different direction.
If Barry just absorbed back his speed from Earth90-Barry then created an Time-Remnant in 2019 Crisis

Theory: what if Barry does die in crisis but not that year Barry, what if when 2024 flash fights reverse flash and they both go back in time to the night his mom died, but after Barry got his younger self out of their he went into the speed force back in time to crisis to die saving the other Barry’s life (remember when jay replaced wallys sentence in the speed force in season 3) that’s what he does for Barry on earth 90 so Barry of earth 1 in 2024 dies but his speed trail that was traveling behind him turned into a lightning bolt that travels to the night of the particle accelerator explosion being the bolt that strikes him. 1. That would be similar to the comics, Barry being the lightning bolt that strikes him, and 2. Oliver saying back in season one of the flash that that lightning bolt chose him.
That's exactly what's happening I know it because we know when the show end he varnishing and I been paying attention I think there just keeping it a secret.

Ohh I fucking how love they are trying to incorporate the plot of the comic version of crisis on infinite earth, with Barry's death.
So I’m curious. Barry in the next scene explains that he experienced every possible future all at once, and the only one with a chance is the one we see here where he dies.
How is it then, that despite seeing it himself clearly, it turns out that “The Flash must die” refers to 90s Barry? It would have worked for me if it had stayed an unseen prophecy, “Barry Allen dies in Crisis” turning out to be Barry from a different universe, but we see it happen here and then later on it happens differently (on the treadmill) to a different Barry.
I genuinely think I’m missing something. That, on top of the Reverse Flash being completely uninvolved in Crisis after years of explicitly building up the fight, Reverse Flash’s preceding appearance literally saying “see you next Crisis” to Barry, for no in universe explanation at all. The production team said they just didn’t feel obligated to follow through on that setup which sucked in my opinion.
That’s my two biggest criticisms of otherwise my absolute favorite arc in the Arrowverse. Crisis delivered in so many awesome ways.
