Yeah...I pop over on the main reddit sometimes and it can be pretty maddening some of the things you read. Best enjoyed in small doses (or not at all :P)
This is close to the loadout I've been using recently and really enjoying, Though I use peak physic armor since they're heavy slow weapons and often bring the stalwart since the Erupter takes care of armored targets already.
Loving the new biome! Especially the performance improvements - used to be a laggy mess as I played a powerpoint presentation in this (and non-swamp jungle) biomes.
I never thought anything would knock the senator out of my secondary, but if I'm against bugs, it's the grenade pistol all the way. No more satisfying way to take care of hives.
I got around to playing this with one of my brothers and another friend of ours! Boy, it was hectic dealing will the Impaler and those explosive gas plants in Socorro III. We learned the hard way, don't bring Guard Dog Rover unless you're wary enough of the gas plants before it sets them off, lol! By the way, I tried out the Anti-Tank Mines, the now one-handed Exploding Crossbow, and the buffed Slugger. Anti-Tank Mines still have the weaknesses of other mines, but it's strong enough to kill a Charger Behemoth with just two mines. Crossbow being one-handed is going to allow for some neat options. Can't wait to test it with the supposedly fixed Ballistic Shield against bots, but for now, we shoot more bugs! Slugger, while the damage remains the same, the stagger feels much nicer compared to the previous nerf. I can run it comfortably against Brood Commanders, hive guards, etc. Anyway, sorry for the wall of text. I always like talking about all the changes I play around with.
Always a pleasure! And lol, did not consider the risk of guard dog and those gas vents, thanks for the heads up! Only tried the mines in an all-mines loadout on the evacuate missions, haven't really used them in a proper mission yet, but seemed fun. Slugger feels great, but I'm a Cookout convert now, at least for bugs!
The lower RPMs were implemented only as a test to root out the undemocratic. There is only one RPM for the free. (fr tho, I never use the lower RPMs though some may like them to conserve ammo vs light enemies)
I can't say for sure but I think the reason it said reinforcements depleted when you boarded the pelican is because once the first player gets on you can no longer reinforce someone if they die and it's now just letting you know that's the case
we love the PT Belt Armor(TM) in my household, it is literally impossible to get hit by chargers with it! (they know to stop when they see yellow) jokes aside, think base liberator + MG + OPS can take diff 10 solo? could see it being possible, but you'd probably need to be super aggressive when you get the chance to push.
Just getting the complete, for sure, all clear deathless, not so much, I don't think the OPS can carry that hard as you only AT! Or more accurately, it's possible...just not something I'd do and enjoy :P

My favourite is the new fields of gas vents...one stray shot and the whole battlefield is on fire.

Played this map yesterday... forgot how utterly useless Eagles are on these swamp worlds... things didn't go well for me LOL.

Yeah it's pretty sweet. If I'm taking MGs I'm happy for my primary slot to be the bug hole closer tho, so Eruptor fits well here.

Is the dominator's laser pointer always green or did it change to match my player colour this mission? I swear it's blue when you're using it...
Think it's always green? But maybe the planet's colour filters make it look blue...

No deaths means no personal deaths. I say "Team Deathless" for when the whole team goes without dying

After 5 months i have reached lvl 120, while my mates stopped playing at lvl 60 lol 😂😂😂
