- Our 4th year of trying the infamous Whipsaw Trail. We are definitely the first ones of the year on tires to attempt the trail and there's a reason for that! After a brutally long day, I figured I should split the video into 2. Here is video 2 - hope you enjoy!

Now that is a adventure... a true snow wheeling adventure. Well done and yes Deon out there getting the shots and swamping is our hero as viewers.
The kind of epic adventure where you get out abd say "Never again!"... But then, as time goes on.. "Well IF we did it again next year, here's what I do differently." Then, by next spring "OK, whose coming this year? It will be great, with all we learned last year..." :-) Congratulations of two hreat epic videos!

Hard core for rubber donuts... made it through... the winches and Yankum ropes are the toughest workers of the day - great footage from Deon to make an epic production... Worth the subscription!

@@BruceCookfmx Definitely a machine! I was a camera-op for several years shooting in the outdoors, and its a lot of work. He gets some great shots!
Great video you guys . And the feeling of no gas in the tank at that time of the night then the relief of pulling in to a gas station epic.
Bruce, sitting in his jeep, rocking it back and forth to grab a few feet at a time, while sitting at at 42 degree angle, and all you can see of him through the windscreen is his giant grin. 😂❤

I have watched lots of whipsaw vids, and wrote it off as not being worth the 20 hr drive to get there, but add snow and this looked like a blast. Great job.
I would definitely not drive 20 hours for whipsaw 😅 I barely drive 2 hours for it. I think it’s overhyped. Some people call it the Rubicon of Canada… it is not lol.

U GUYS ROCKED IT! TRAIL OPENED Looks like ur trans temp was probably the cause of hi temp?thats alot of friction slipage trying to find traction .take intank trans cooler out of the mix and run a large external only that way ur coolant isnt at the mercy of trans temp just a thought idk what u think bruce?

Nope, I monitor trans very carefully and it stayed 100% normal temp. Also have 4;1 in the t case so that helps. Weird thing is I’ve driven like this or worse a ton and never had that. Was wondering if extreme angles while doing it had anything to do with it 🤷🏼♂️ been fine since, dunno!
