- Hi Friends! It's finally time to see how we much we saved in savings challenges for the month of July! It was a good month for completing challenges for us so Im excited!

I saved $700 towards debt in completed challenges, but I started most of them in May hahaha. So it took 3 months but am sooo happy with the amount! Old Dawn couldn't save a $1 LOL. AMAZING Savings Stef!!!! that is truly awesome!!!!

Very smooth! Thankfully, our escrow was only short $263 this year, and I had the money saved. Our payment is still going up like $20 but could have been worse.

Thank you so much! I’ve been saving all the completed challenges in a little zipper pouch. It’ll be fun to see how m y are in there at the end of the year. Then I’ll resticker all the laminated challenges to use again 🩷❤️🤍

I home school my daughter. She was having nervous breakdowns in public school and I have a degree in education.
But I was talking to a friend and our schools are trying something new and providing all the school supplies which is crazy sounding to me lmao
That’s cool. So many families struggle getting those things. We talk about homeschooling but unfortunately don’t have the time right now I feel. Maybe someday. 💜🩷

I love that you explained how you started your savings challenges. But what about your emergency fund? Did you save that first and then start your sinking funds? I’m just starting this process and I’m confused on how to get this emergency fund built up.
We started with our initial 1k emergency fund when first started cash budgeting in 2020. It took us a few months. Once we got that saved then I started putting the extract to extra debt payments. We stuffed sinking funds at the same time but we weren’t doing any savings challenges then. ❤️🩷🤍
