As per SP-16, for uniaxial bending, all reinforcements are arra ged on the short side of column, for biaxial bending bars are arranged on all 4 sides, but as per ur Autocad sheet, all reinforcements are arranged on the longer side of column ??
Please explain...

Reinforcements need to be arranged according to the dimension of the column. In the Autocad sheet, different sizes of columns have been shown and the reinforcements are arranged accordingly.
For example, if the column size is 200 x 600 mm, obviously you cannot provide more than two no.of bars in the shorter direction(width) and in the longer direction(depth) you can provide 6 nos of bars.

Very unfortunate...u people are so short sighted...you judge everything based on religion..technical knowledge does not come by practicing religion, but by proper technical understanding and practicing engineering principles...
