It's all woven into our DNA, my friend!! Genetics can also have memory, memories from our ancestors ages and ages ago. When we hear these sounds, our first instinct is to look at our surroundings to be sure we're safe. As long as we're safe, everything is going to be okay.
In fact, in a 4ich environment like this jungle, hearing sounds is a good thing. Most large things you hear are most likely herbivores. Now... if the jungle is silent, that is not a good sign, it means something big is out there.

At first you think it's just your ordinary run-of-the-mill jungle, the same as all the rest...then you hear the unmistakable roar of a dinosaur...and suddenly you're really regretting not bringing your XL machete...
If i went back I time 65 million years ago I would bring an elephant gun 700 nitro kill Dino easy peasy or if I could and M1 abrams fully decked out with storage of MREs lots of ammo a bunker filled with everything and a Huey with twin gats and rocket pod and of course some crafty and smart and not afraid to kill something friends and a 4 dogs

1. The Hollow Earth- tribute to Edgar Rice Burroughs' At The Earth's Core & Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth
Themes: dinosaurs and other paleo beasts, near-human beastfolk, native tribes (inc. vicious cannibals, Amazon warriors, noble savages), Atlantis, pulp adventure & mystery;
Feels: awe-inspiring, intense, wild, ominous, mysterious, primal, mystical
Sounds to feature: roars and bellows of various animals, chirps & screeches of birds, buzzes of bug, grunts & hoots of tribes, rumbling of earth
2. The Primal Landscape- tribute to Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal
Theme: , survival at its most raw, tribes makin' a livin', great plethora of dangerous ancient beasts and beings roamin' the world;
Feels: intense, unsettling yet peaceful at times, ominous
Sounds to feature: hoots & grunts, echoin' roars of prehistoric beasts, wind, splashes

“I woke up, and after hiding in the trees and looking around I heard noises and focalization form animals I’ve never heard before, and I’m hard core watcher of David Attenborough and animal planet. And what I see before me leaves me in shock and awe, my mouth like that of large mouth bass about so eat. I see....creatures animals of different sizes, wonders I’ve seen only in museums as a child or in Jurassic park. Dinosaurs! But these are not CGI animatronics or bones on display. They move, look around, some bob heads and makes noises, others just eat there daily nutrition like real, living moving animals. I don’t party, drink or smoke hallucinations and I got a head and scrapes that prove I’m not dreaming which only mean own thing, I’ve somehow gone back in time to the Mesozoic. The time of dinosauria.

The party moves forward cautiously, having heard the trees shifting and falling to something huge in the distance, then a terrifying bellow follows the crashes ahead. The ranger recognizes that call, after dwelling in this area for four years, it's the hunting call of a male Allosaur, and it's close. You draw your weapons, expecting the attack, but no, it comes from the side! The allosaur breaks through the underbrush to your left, picking up the barbarian in it's jaws and shaking him all about. The ranger drops to her knee and unloads a volley of arrows into the hunting beast, while the fighter and warlock close the distance with a quick run and slash at it's legs, prompting it to drop the barbarian, who now filled with rage, calls on his draconic ancestors and breathes forth a burst of bright fire, which the allosaur screeches in pain at, and the ranger pops an arrow right into the bottom of it's jaw, through into it's skull, and just like that, the dinosaur falls to it's side, the ground shaking under it's ample weight.
-A dramatic retelling of a D&D session I watched once and very much so want to replicate with my upcoming sessions

Awesome stuff but i have a request. Ambience for the City of Spiders (Menzoberranzan) There is also a bazaar in the middle of the city but the current bazaar ambience doesnt really work for underdark. I would be so grateful if you can make one or two different ones. Underdark city and underdark market/bazaar. Either way i would be happy. My first and current DnD campaign is taking place in Menzoberranzan.

Only TH-camTV supports 5.1 systems. So you won't have 5.1 You'll have stereo audio though (left-right panned).
