My dad and I were stopped on the road right where the Procession was going to start on the way to work, we wanted to pay our respects to Eric. Seeing his casket in the hearse was heartbreaking for me, I have a lot of respect for people who are willing to die to protect innocent people, those who are officers of the law who commit injustice aren’t real police officers in my eyes, I wish his family the best during these times, RIP Eric.
this procession is simply ripping at my heart. I have close family and friends in law enforcement and this hits home hard. Praying Gods protection over our men and women in blue.
I have a huge amount of respect for police officers, except the ones who commit injustice, but to me, those aren’t real officers, to me, Real officers will do anything to protect innocent people, thats what this guy did. They have to know what and when to sacrifice if you know that people depend on you, it takes a lot of guts to do that and I I have a lot of respect for that, he didn’t deserve to die, he was just trying to do a good thing.
