Justin hi, I really appreciate this excellent release going in great detail over the Parts function in Revit. I am trying to divide the top layer of a floor slab which is the finish floor material into different areas to represent hardwood, tile, etc. I was successful doing that in the 3D model. However, I spent nearly two days trying to see the changes in the 2D plan view to no avail. I played with the Visibility/Graphics and with the Parts Visibility properties in any possible combination. What am I missing in trying to get the perfectly working function in 3D to work as nicely in 2D? Thank you so much in advance.
great tutorial!
good
