For some time I've wanted to make a horror game, but with experience in only 2D that seemed impossible. Until my friend Paul and I discovered that we could use Ai Generated Art to mimic a first person experience. We ended up creating Expedition Of Extinction, which is basically Five Nights At Freddy's Fan Game but on a boat.
This video is part 2 where I attempt to build the game after generating the art in the last video. Putting this project together was harder then I expected. Instead of 2-3 weeks it took 3-4 months. Part of the issue was that I got extremely burned out and decided to take a break and go camping. After some gentle encouragement, I buckled down and finished the game.
This project is the largest in terms of time spent that I've uploaded a video on. It involved more friends (a bunch of nerds you may say) and pushed my limits both technically, design wise, and video editing wise.

This practically happened to me. But the motherboard just blew up - as a composer and concept artist for an upcoming game. - this isnt fun to deal with. Ive had to do everything on my phone (which is very painful and probably takes 3x the amount of time itd normally take) Glad you pulled through and started working on the game once your computer got fixed! It looks outstanding! (Also I love the spongebob memes and references lol)
