God, Ellen is just a horrible host even if you ignore the mistreatment of workers

A great example is when she hosted Mariah Carey, trying to get her to say she was she was pregnant (she "heard rumours"). She then outed her pregnancy by trying to force her to drink alcohol. Mariah had a miscarriage a few weeks after that.

I think she actually gets on well with the big stars because she sucks up to them. She just seems to be rude to up and comers and staff so it became a PR disaster. James Corden seems to be the same.
