Alphas last 75 minutes. They appear once per in game day, which is 6 real life hours but they can be up to 11 hours apart if one spawns early in its cycle and the next spawns late in its cycle.
It's a good vid but a few of the figures are off. Timer ball is 11 turns for max 4x rate. Also stat reversal after contrary being a problem so a Pokemon with haze could be good. I see people with alpha catching Breloom running substitute and swords dance too. Trick with choice band or assault gear can be good
