a little tip about the encounter counter. if you stream pokemmo and use OBS u cant stream your encounter counter as a window capture. it will freeze ur pc. u need to stream it as browser source and then fit it. i broke my whole windows trying to narrow this bug down. xD

I was watching this to know how to efficiently hunt shinies, but to also find and catch rare pokemon easier because thats one of my main ways of makiny money on pokemmo as of now. But i also really want a shiny krokorok then evolve it into krookodile
The kind of time required for this activity does not fit well with someone like me that has to work oh well if I see a shiny i'm catching it but cant commit to this method it will have to just be whilst i play if i ever encoubter one
Because with horde encounters you are encountering 5 pokemon at a time. Those old rates were balanced to single encounter shiny hunting. They don't want people to be able to grind out shinies in an hour. Some people find up to 3 in an hour with good luck though.
Its just like a preference. People who shiny hunt in pokemmo appreciate the high odds. Makes the dopamine hit harder. 1/4000 or 1/8000 would flood the game with shinies like main line pokemon. People play this because its not like main line
My buddy caught two our first 15 minutes of level training for kanto. We just naturally assumed finding shinies was easy so we sold them and split the winnings. Havent found another since lol
You explained the encounter rate so wrong, it doesn’t matter whether it’s your first encounter or your 60000th it’s 30000 to 1 rate for every encounter so your luck doesn’t go up no matter what encounter rate you’re on
@@some1intheworldsome of us have to actually do something in life, not everyone can afford to sit infront of a device for hours and hours to hunt, that too in a non official game which might shut down in the next 5-6 years

@@realdynammo yeah i had 2 other guys that had the same problem and it got fixed by doing this aswell. i did quite alot of trial and error on this :D
Soak is also important for catching a plant pokemon. You cant spore them if they're not soaked.

When running hordes you should lead with your synchronize Pokémon then if you see a shiny switch to your Breloom?
you only need to switch to the catching pokémon when you are down to the last one
your pokemmo visuals seem much smoother than mine. More up-to-date. How did you do so? assuming the base ROM is different ?

You can just run away if there is no shiny, but if there is you have to defeat every other pokemon before you can throw a pokeball
