Hi, welcome to the game. You have 2 types of legendaries in the game, the ones I mention in this video you can keep forever the remaining available ones are KOTH (King Of The Hill) and only 1 player can have them at a time. Just a note, all legendaries don't count for the pokedex completion, so you don't need to get them if you don't want.

Ok, there are some points to clarify. First, don't release the legendary pokemons you catch, you will not be able to find it again in that month, worse case sell it if you don't want it, you can only catch 1 legendary of each available species each month. Second, you can have multiple legendaries for the same specie, if you catch articuno this month you can catch another one in 3 months. Now, the shiny stuff, the way it works is that you only get 1 chance per month for each legendary that is available, for example if you find articuno this month and it is not shiny even if you kill it and find him again multiple times he will never be shiny that month, but you still have the possibility to get a shiny one the next time it is available 3 months after. @@Anas_A The game says you can only catch 1 legendary of each specie for that month, for example this month articuno and raikou, for those you are not limited on how many you can have only how many you can catch each month. You might be confused because of the lengendaries that are king of the hill like mewtow, those you can only have 1 at a time and have other rules. Now if you want to shiny hunt a roaming legendary you only have one way to do it, you need to check every month he is up and don't waste time trying to re-encounter it, for example I want a shiny articuno, so I will hunt for him every Mar, Jun, Sep and Dec month of the year, attention this can take years to hunt.

nope just to the actual real world month change in real life for everyone. June, July, August, each count as 1 month

Some moves work on the strength of another pokemon.. so if u have low iv’s in attack stat it’s good
