I am from Southern Utah, I've seen hundreds of videos of people going down FM since Josh Bender in late 90's til now. You are airing out sections I've never seen anyone going either fast enough to do or being daring enough to try, you're on a different level even from the many pros I've seen go down this. Wow.
Thanks Allen! I ride this trail a lot. I use it for my downhill racing training. I can actually go quite a bit faster, but this was my first time riding this new bike, so I was only at like 90%. Thanks for watching! - Connor Clifford
@@jasoncass8771 to be fair, the drone angle doesn't show the exposure. I've ridden a lot in WA and haven't seen anything even remotely close to the exposure of this trail.
Great speed and flow, impressive riding! BTW wasnt it you who rode down from the parking lot to Grafton Mesa Dh on your new Commencal DH bike last week? I was the guy sitting in the rear of my car with my bike on the ground when your dad dropped you of for your run. Its a small world, seeing this when Im back in Sweden...
Well I've ridden quite a bit in BC and I think you'd change your tune if you came and rode with me. It's quite steep, and way way more exposed than any BC trail. Thanks for watching!
It follows me. I have a beacon in my pocket and the drone locks on to it. It works fairly well, but it does get lost on occasion. They don't make this particular drone anymore, however.
The rear tire keeps popping off the ground and trying to send you OTB. I’m guessing rebound is set too fast, maybe a little too much compression as well 😅 0:22
What the video doesnt capture is the massive exposure. The features themselves are not the hardest, but not many trails will have them with a massove fall 6 inches away.
I agree. I've posted videos of this trail from my GoPro that show the exposure. The drone footage definitely doesn't capture the exposure. Most people who aren't used to Southern UT exposure crap themselves when they get on the first drop in of this trail!
XC? LOL wow, they've got some pretty extreme XC trails up there in Grand Junction. This is in Virgin, UT. About 10 minutes from the RedBull Rampage site.
I don't know that it's "significantly" harder. It's definitely mentally tougher for sure. But it's short, and you have to take this trail to get to it. haha
It’s not the toughest trail. It’s one of the most fun descents around the nation. Would be fun to go back and put a time down a DH. Top to bottom try to beat the_hempdogg
Huge fan of the drone follow cam footage… looks looks gnarly and awesome … way different than the loam forest and razor rock we have here in VA mountains … all of it is awesome 🤘🤘🤘

Crazy trail and excellent riding. I like that you kept the fall in it too. Genuine.
Thanks! It's a fun trail for sure. Thanks for watching!
Unless I’m missing something, I certainly would not call that the most difficult mountain bike trail in America
I got about a minute in, pretty much had the same thought, and switched channels.
it is 100% the exposure. The trail isn't that hard but when you have a 100-foot cliff right next to you things get sketchy. Highest consequence trail?
It would be closer to the most difficult if the rider had ridden it in the opposite direction. 😊
There are much harder trails here in WA.

@Fluffracka That's awesome, yes that was us!
Very Impressive riding there, well done!
Thanks @Trasher6!
Rode this trail. Fun but in no way the most difficult.
Great freaking video!!!👏👏👏
Thanks dude! 💪🏻
Beautiful trail!!! That drone footage is excellent too. I have written it down on my "LIST OF TRAILS TO RIDE"
Thanks for watching! Hope you can come ride it sometime.
Nice video and great recovery. That trail looks pretty crazy.
Thanks! It's a fun trail, thanks for watching!
Awesome camera work. Great riding. Pivot Firebird? That trail looks like a blast. Might try to out there this summer.
Thanks! It's a Commencal Supreme V5. I just got it, and love it so far!
Cool! Nice trail. Perfect music 😎
Thanks man! It's a fun trail for sure!
Well the drone flying is pretty outstanding.
Thank you!
That's a green in BC
LOL. Maybe, but it looks fun. And it's dry.
@@theweaselcat3564 I can assure you its much steeper, exposed and chunky rock than it looks.
@@KurtRWalker I can assure you it's not anything like BC steep....

Yes 🙌
🔥🔥🔥
Nice footage!
Thanks! We used a Skydio drone. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore!
Looks super fun would love to take a crack at it some day
Let's go!
Well done. Does that drone follow you or is someone controlling it? I am new to this arial footage and genuinely curious.
I'm curious too.

Haha Didn't have the suspension set right at all. Maiden voyage on new bike.
Sock shots dude. Nice riding! 💪🤙
Thanks! 🙏🏻

I guess this is in Utah. Looks a lot like the trails we race in the Grand Junction Off Road Xc
Yeah. I'm ready.
XC? LOL wow, they've got some pretty extreme XC trails up there in Grand Junction. This is in Virgin, UT. About 10 minutes from the RedBull Rampage site.
You make it look easy
Thank you Sir! 🙏🏻
is flying monkey and kingkong the same?
Great question... You have to take about 1/3 of the Flying Monkey Trail to get to King Kong.
Don't know about toughest, but sure looks like fun
Fun it is!
I mean King Kong is significantly harder and it’s right there.
I don't know that it's "significantly" harder. It's definitely mentally tougher for sure. But it's short, and you have to take this trail to get to it. haha

Haha I remember when I beat your time on Strava on Monkey a couple of years ago and then I met you on a Ski Lift in Washington randomly. 🤙🏻

Thank you! Thanks for watching! 🔥
Not even close... So many trails out ther in NA that make this looks tame as.... Want steep... Come to BC..... bring extra brake pads....
I love BC riding. I ride and race up there. The exposure is what will get you on this trail. The drone footage doesn't capture that too well. ☠
Doesn’t look easy. The hardest trails are the ones where you have to stop every 10 seconds because of hikers and xc’ers riding up. 😜
That is so true! Hikers and XC'ers can make any trail extra spicy! 🌶
The answer to the question is an empathic no. But this is a cool video nonetheless. 👍
Thanks for watching!
Ain’t no shame in walking
LOL Nope, none!
TLDR: no. Cool vid though, nice riding.
Doesn't look tougher than anything in Sedona
Haha funny. It's 100% tougher than anything in Sedona. Take a look at my White Line video I just posted.
nope
Give king Kong a try. Your opinion will change.
Check out my channel.. I have a video of King Kong also. Keep in mind you have to ride this trail to get to King Kong. Thanks for watching!
💪
Not even close. One 1 - 10 you are riding a 6.
Thanks for watching. What trail (excluding say RedBull Rampage lines, etc) would you consider a 10 in the US?
no
Try Ore Chute in Colorado before you make this claim.
Wasn't a claim, it was a question. Have you ridden Flying Monkey?
