Hi Lesley, tbh I don't think I am going to get one. I generally find that small light planes are a bit finnicky in wind and where I live there is generally always some wind. hi. i noticed that you have O3, and using the gopro6. isn't the O3 better than the gopro6 !!! what is your experience with footage at maximum capable settings for both cameras?
Hi Dug to be really honest I have not had enough time yet to really test the O3 camera for recording footage in comparison to the GoPro. Using cameras to get good footage is something I really need to put some more time and effort into as there is a heck of a lot I need to learn. I have done some very brief comparisons with GoPro and O3 footage both satbilised with Gyroflow and the GoPro footage imo came out on top. One of the issues with the O3 camera as i see it is that when you make changes for getting better footage it also changes the in flight experience, whereas with my GoPro I can set that however I like and have the O3 setup to give me the best in Goggle experience. My AR Pro's are also setup for CG with the GoPro up front and I don't want to use dead weight. All that said I am building Mini Drak that I intend to use only the O3 camera so I will be doing everything possible to get the best in flight and footage balance. I am just not there yet.
