Incredible recap, LR. Every flat sprint should get this level of detailed analysis. Also, why did Kool go left to the other side of Wiebes? Seemed extremely risky, as she almost chopped Vos and the barrier looked open. Also, the Uno-X train brought the DSM train back up, so another stage that SD WORX can blame on Uno-X. Uno-X are just straight SDWorx assassins.
I think she was naturally moving to the left coming from the barrier into the slipstream so easier to keep moving to the left to go past. Looked like Vos had anticipated this or felt it naturally and moved very slightly to her left leaving room
So glad to see the TDF Femmes is on again. I didn’t think it would happen because there was another women’s race during the men’s TDF and the Olympics as well.
It’s amazing how much more exciting a sprint is when riders hold their line. Boxing others out is for a rider with diminished confidence in their abilities.
6:16 and 6:18: hold your hands on the bar in a sprint, SD Worx! It's annoying and dangerous to start blablabla in the radio when everyone around you is sprinting.
Odd when Kool used to lead out Weibes she was tops at finding right position but riding for herself does not seem to be quite as good and these 2 races Rachele Barberie has done a great job but Kool has chose to go her own way not saying it was wrong but interesting.
Ok lets talk about the elephant in the room. is a short tour and the first two stages are in Holland, which doesn't even share a land border with France. What no flat land in France? 67KM? was this a time trial?
2 stage in one day? what do you expect, a 150km mountain stage and then a tt in the afternoon?!! tdf 2024 men start in Italy! lets talk about that elephant in the room
Lanterne Rouge: "Sprinters Will Risk Going into the Barriers to Win" Uh, Lanterne, that's one of the definitions of a pro sprinter. Don't expect any different from women's sprinters!
Vos showing how it's possible to sprint pretty straight ahead though. Of course, it depends on lots of things if you want to pass someone but there are definitely some riders who are more classy about it than others.
They only have 7 riders and she has no business in pancake flat sprints. Goint to the Tour with a really good sprinter and the best gc rider, bascially does require said GC rider to do some lead-out work. But being 2nd last within the leadout is classic sd worx crazy tactics
Real sportsmanship from de Vos, making room for Kool.
Agreed. Class always.
Thought I read: "Real sponsorship for de Vos, making room from Kool Aid."
Chapeau to Charlotte Kool for another fantastic sprint victory. I'm glad that she's had the opportunity to show how good she really is.
6:54 for a sprinter at some 60 kph after a short stage Charlotte should be wearing a skinsuit.
I love you lanterne rouge, being back the old school analysis of pantani or that raver with the blonde hair!
damn the graph at 0:25 haha. not even a speedbump 🤣🤣

Surprise and maybe wind direction?

But Kool didn’t really hold her line and jumped from left to right instead.
What a fantastic breakdown! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! These women are smart, determined and super fast! Well done!
Great to see Josie Talbot (Cofidis) checking up on Ruby Roseman-Gannon (Jayco-AlUla) after that crash
*Kool is Krushing!* 🔨
Superb highlights as usual
Charlotte stayed Cool
that was awesome!
Huge 2nd win.

B2B LESSSGOOO KOOL!
Nice for Charlotte, straight up beat Wiebes.
Class sprint
@LanterneRouge what about Kool not sprinting in straight line and nearly chopping Vos?
👍
SDWorx got beaten. Cool!!!😉
Odd when Kool used to lead out Weibes she was tops at finding right position but riding for herself does not seem to be quite as good and these 2 races Rachele Barberie has done a great job but Kool has chose to go her own way not saying it was wrong but interesting.
Kool = cabbage in Dutch. Suddenly not so cool eh? 😂
What headwind! barely any wind! Wiebes just run out of stream!
Kool as a cucumber, what a badass!
and guys like Philipsen will veer off toward the barriers, risking the lives of other sprinters to win
Sd worx to be the next ineos if they do lose vollering

Time trial is this afternoon (just about right now), as mentioned by Patrick around 1:20
Yeah there are two stages today, and it's not unusual to start outside of France (Denmark in TdF 2022, for example)
Netherlands does have a land border with France on the caribbean island of Saint Martin 😂

Thick as a brick
Whats Up with Vollering? Last year dominated everything, Tour de France Victory and so on and today lead out?
