Just subscribed to your channel. I like coming across the Michigan anglers. Crouse Outdoors and The Michigan Anglers are good ones too and your channel. I can see 100k subs for you in the near future.
I’m using a 32” medium heavy fenwick as a jigging rod and a 38” medium heavy ht laker xl pro as my bobber rod. Both have have abu Garcia max reels one size 10 on the jigging rod and 30 on the bobber rod. Neither setup is perfect but they work and aren’t to expensive. I’m hoping to have a couple better jigging rods next season.
Great video , love catching big pike on a rod. Sounded like that wind was rough. A simple large treble pinned to a broomstick, snip two of the prongs off, stick them big ones under the chin as they come thru hole, doesn't hurt them any worse then a large crankbait .
Save the fish with a gaff? Never heard of it. I guess if you had blunt end gaff and slip it under the Gill plate or something. Just never heard of it. Usually people just use a bigger hole
I do the same thing when it comes to finding a spot to fish. I'm always the guy that goes the extra mile to find a place to fish where no one else is. Good walleye info, I agree with what you said. Good show Brother!
Some big uns there, looked like fun.
My favorite fish to pursue.. getting a few muskallunge on Muskegon also..
Great pike, nice fight!
Thank you 👊
Nice job good video 👍🏻
Looking for tips on getting some white fish on the ice. Nice pike!
Thanks. I don’t know any where in west Michigan to get whitefish through the ice. I know guys fish them in the keweenaw bay through the ice.

That's cool
What camera gear are u using
I filmed this with a canon EOS R and a go pro
What rod and reel do you use? Having a hard time finding a good one for walleye.

Thank you 👊
Nice pike cuz. We don't have them down here in Louisiana. Closest thing are the pickerel, but haven't caught any real big ones yet.
Thanks, no ice either in Louisiana so you find me there in the winter.
Awesome video Brother! Heck of a fish and heck of a fight!!
Thanks buddy 👊 sure was a fun fight

Thank you 👊
Always a great time on Muskegon lake.
Nice pike man! Definitely want to go out and try Muskegon Lake
How come you guys don't use a gaff hook? Save the Fish and your fingers
I don’t have one. Doesn’t save the fish though and I’ve never needed one.

Watching while we drive up to a "undisclosed" location in Newaygo . Muskegon has been getting pounded pretty hard
Awesome, good luck 👊
