you need one of them super quiet honda generators to charge up stuff while out there were you fishing out of aloha state park? or accessing elsewhere, ive only fished lake during summer caught lots of walleye trolling to point from aloha boat basin then caught a lot at dam on cheboygan river by the lock
That would work well. A little heavy for me but for multiple days I would use it. I was a little ways rom the state park, I’ve never fished there in open water. It’s one lake I want to make it back to soon.
Great video! I Picked up an Eskimo i5 on clearance 2 years ago at Cabela's, One of the best ice fishing Investments ever. We camp on the ice all the time. Also, the cheap snap-together foam pads work really well on the ice to keep the heat in.
I’ve fished several spots on mullet and had success. Try to find steep drop offs that go from real shallow to between 20-30 ft. Fish where the drop off starts to bottom out. The spot on this video I think I was in about 24ft.
An insulated shanty is a must. You'll save in propane what you spend for the new shanty. Also You'll be warm enough to sleep in your boxers.
made the switch last season
Just came over from Facebook new follower here looking forward to watching your videos

Nice fish. We are heading up there today.
Can you tell me what spot you fish on mullet?

Nice fish! I've been wanting to get up there, just can't find anyone to go with me.
Hell I’ll go with you lol. I’m from central IL and have been to Wisconsin many times chasing ice.
