Your teaching technique is superb! Vocabulary is presented in alphabetical order, therefore homonyms and similar sounding words to my American ears are reviewed back to back, very helpful. You are a natural, gifted teacher. Also obviously very talented, it appears to me you also have many Spanish speaking students as well as English speaking students. jia you! This is much better than competing videos. The pronunciation is clear and realistic without the idiotic third tone down up pattern you hear on other YT channels.

I just reviewed this lesson. It was good for me since I’m not enrolled in the 2nd semester if Chinese. I’m doing independent study. I admit I’m not putting in 15 hours a week of study time like I had to previously so this helps. Thank you. It’s hard to keep up the momentum.

One thing I really appreciated was how you translated sentences word for word so we could understand how the sentence is formed in Chinese. It also helped me learn the other words in the sentence. at 1:01:41 you sound as if you were pronouncing 'jin tian qing tian, wo men chu qu wan er ba' , you make an 'r' sound after wan that makes me think that. Am I just listening wrong? I would greatly appreciate the clarification. By the way, great video, love it!
