Hi Carl, thank you for the great video. In 2:50 you said if Ptx being 10dB more than Prx, Ptx is 10 times stronger. But it doesn't make 10 times more power, right? Isn't 3db double the power? Thanks
everything here is correct, if Ptx is 10dB more than Prx then Ptx is 10 more power than Prx. +10dB is x10 in linear, and as you said, +3dB is x2 in linear
Speed of light (c)= frequency (f) x wavelength (lambda) c is a constant = 300000000m/s and f is the frequency used for communication. All electromagnetic waves travel at the speed of light and only differ in frequency and wavelength.

Nice,Thank you Carl for connecting both formulas...
Thanks Man..You explained it in a great way..
Thank you! Very well explained
Thanks Carl. this is helpful

Thanks Carl, this is useful!
thank you Mr. Carl
Well explained Carl.
thank you ....can u plz tell me what is free space path loss? and is it the same as pathloss
But where does the wavelength part come from?
Speed of light (c)= frequency (f) x wavelength (lambda)
c is a constant = 300000000m/s and f is the frequency used for communication. All electromagnetic waves travel at the speed of light and only differ in frequency and wavelength.
Hi Carl, thanks for the video. By the way, where's the Textbook equation comes from?
sir can u please explain what is rssi..
Thank You Sir!!!!!!!
how to find lambda in this model
can u give formula for lambda
Speed of light (c)= frequency (f) x wavelength (lambda)
c is a constant = 300000000m/s and f is the frequency used for communication. All electromagnetic waves travel at the speed of light and only differ in frequency and wavelength.
awesome man....
