Just a heads up. You should do a video with this but do the DEEP Vein: Extraction quest for 150. You can run right to the vein, kill 3 snakes, harvest the exoctic vein and then while still inside the cave hit the unstuck button and with will warp you back to the pod. You can get 150 coins and 16 exoctics in under 10 min.
If anyone has trouble with the updated version of this map here are 3 tips: 1. the first armor for sprint speed 2. Throwing Spears 3. Jump on a rock in the bear fight there should be a few big once where he gets stuck
I’ve run this with 3 people and its super fast (less than 8 min), host go to point 1, then the rest go to point 2 and 3, then all run back to dropship, the person camping 3rd one will be able to leave faster and host the next one, then the 1st and 2nd man, joins and repeat this. If you keep meeting bear/wolf, the trick is to hug the left wall, up till you past the entrance to artic, then go straight to the lake. Better use alt char, with speed perk (3 exploration, 3 knives). Dont bring any module, if 1st or 2nd person die, respawning make the run even faster. You only need knive and berry for stamina boost.
The sheer amount of bears and wolves is crazy on this mission. They're all lvl 65+ too, so i got caught a few times by the bears and it was game over for me. I recommend using a new character to avoid losing too much XP from death. Thanks for the tip!
Thats a good tip, I must admit it seems to be hit and miss with the wolves and bears. I have dropped a few times and had the same problem but then others have had it super easy, with the same character!? Would love to work out exactly how it is all worked out :-)
Just do the BeachHead: Recon mission (the first one), set it to Hard and, at the time of this comment, you get 38 Ren for landing, getting out of the shuttle, and then getting back in and going back to the station... Boring, but just do it over and over again and you'll get a bunch of currency. Just put on a video you like to watch, turn down the dialogue volume in the game, and have at it!
Just to add to the speed of this. If you drop out of the pod and skirt the left side of the lake you find a corn field. Also by beta you can find Watermelon as well. Add these to with the berries and they stack stamina. more sprinting less downtime. Still a pretty quick , allbeit boring, 50 credits.
Right off the ship headed in the direction of the first plant there are carrots and berries, I grab all the fiber, a carrot, enough stone to make a fire (i have 3d printed pick) and berries, I cook and eat the carrot and berries while carrot is cooking i make full set of armor, Then i collect all plants and still have over 60 seconds of buff time left when i get back to the ship.
Love this vid! I found out that as long as you have your purchased items on your person (in your suit, hotbar, or inventory), it'll come with you once you leave. There's no need to put it in the dropship cargo, but I didn't know that the first time I forgot and was sad as I thought I lost my canteen and knife!
Apparently you used to have to do this during some of the beta weekends, so it’s no surprise that it feels safer to do so. I don’t trust it either yet lol
Thanks for sharing this! I saw someone on the official Discord say that there was an easy mission to grind the gold currency (which is called Ren BTW) but I forgot the mission name. After a few runs I got this down to just over 9 minutes. Now that I know I don't need O2 I can probably do it a little faster; just grabbing berries for the buff. I have subbed to your channel :)
To anyone reading this now. You can do the very first mission in the game over and over by just landing and getting back into the pod and going back to the station and it gives you 50r. Takes 90 seconds. You can ignore all objectives and still complete the mission.
Nice video. After you have done it, I timed how long it takes me to do Deep vein extraction, and I did it in 16mins, for 150 credit and 64 exotics. I think that may be better! But certainly more work. Great videos
Lvl 19, I drank at the lake for the first flower, then after leaving the 2nd one I aye my stack of 60 berries to help with food and water. Was good until I left.
The narrative in the video says 'if you run around to the left' (1:36) which got me killed by a bear about 30 seconds in (just south of L13). Instead, go right, keeping the waterfalls at 1 o'clock as you progress (just to the right of center on your screen). Keep going to the mountain and keep that on your right the entire time. After Objective 1, go north then east to get around the ridge, again keeping the mountains to the right until you start going up, where you keep the mountain to the left, coming at the flower as shown in the video (4:40). On leaving the area, in your video (5:05) you follow the terrain somewhat to your left. If you don't, but instead keep to the right, you can manoeuvre down the slope, but stop at the top first. The base of the slope is a random bear spawn area. If you don't see or hear it, you're okay to continue. If you do,, move to the left then head west to the mountain opposite and keep it to your left. 5 for 5 missions worked for me after my first death. Thanks very much for your video!! Being able to get all the basic tools for future missions using your tip is much appreciated. . .

Yea, I also noticed that on a few drops today. I am wondering if the more times you do a prospect, the harder it gets? I will update when I know more... One thing I did notice though is that the faster you get it done, the less "troublesome creatures" spawn in and so the easier it is :-)
I got repeatedly killed by level 63 bears when I ran along the canyon wall. I'm wondering if going thru the middle of the woods like you show is better or if it's just all random.
Ah man! 😞 U gotta be careful to avoid them if possible rather than being carefree with it (I too experienced this earlier on stream), but once you have done it a few times it becomes more second nature! Hope u have more luck second time?
@@CallumXGames Hey! I ran this mission around 20 times so far pretty consistently. I do it always like that: I farm my cloth set as quickly as possible I take a pick with me to gather around 50 stone in a few seconds. I craft myself bow and arrows. I run the misson, avoid bears if possible but when i run into them, i kill them. You can kill bears with the bow by sidestepping their charge (shift), getting one or 2 free headshots when they turn. Try to be on even terrain without rocks around you. I kill 3 out of 4 bears this way :) edit: i also feel, difficulty is increasing with level, but it doesnt matter if you just kill the bears :D Cheers
Yea, have altered the description, title and pinned a comment so hopefully others will see. Its still a decent way to farm currency early game so I think its still worth keeping up, but will make an updated video in the future.
The YT channel Canopy Gaming found a way better strategy to get 1500/hr including never having to return to your ship after mission completion. Mission times are like 4 minutes!

So let me make this simple: do not even try this. The map is LOADED with bears and wolves. Wolves are np, but you cant kill a bear with a knife and you will end up spending hours trying to recover your gear and you die multiple times
This mission is now not the same. Have to fight an infected bear at one of the places. The company behind this game has erased ANY methods of farming. This game is one of the biggest grind fests ive ever played, and it shows that without that, there isnt much of a game. Like it well enough, it just shouldnt take sooo many hours to unlock a couple weak items to bring. They need better balance.
With great difficulty lol... The trick with this is to avoid any conflict if possible... I hope they change the noises of the buffalos so they didnt sound like bears too!
@@CallumXGames I've actually got used to it now, bit hit or miss, but most of the time i get through no problems. So much easier if you have a couple of friends with you too, just camp the points and do one each, takes about 8 mins to complete.
correct, once you have completed it and left the planet you just re-do the same one :-) Creatures get harder as you level up but if you are avoiding them, you will be fine :-)
The other one is Exotics, and to get them you need to progress a long way into the game. I believe there are only two missions you can get them from currently
Arctic(down Mission overview) Deep (forgot) extraction. It is right from ta middle Mission. You should have fur gear unlocked. There 3 ore spots 24 you van get..

Why would anyone want superfast money in any game? All you're doing is cheating yourself out of play time from the money you've spent, and ruin the whole experience in the process!
Playing devils advocate here, but not everyone has as much time to dedicate to gaming as one another. Being able to streamline the time u do have and still experience some of the stronger items from the workshop is great if u are in that situation? Everyone is different 😎👌

If its just for the Currency make another character.... i done it with a level 3 char :D
do first mission hard ' hardcore 50R as soon as u drop . leave without doing the mission and it takes exactly 74 seconds to get 50R

Watermelon and berries is about all I pickup for stamina buff. And ofc spec your talents for max move speed. Takes 5 minutes or less

Kinda annoying the changed it to 50, games already annoying that you have to restart a base every time you land. Could have let us have this lol
