It's a shame that all patched ex-SP units will be gone from the roster soon; I remember I used to see both patched and unpatched units all the time when I lived in Texas. I even caught two ex-CNW units (one of them being my profile pic).
Once around 2012 or so I was by train tracks and a Union Pacific train went by. A Union Pacific leader, patched CNW as second unit, and patched Southern Pacific on the rear. Only time I've ever seen a patched Southern Pacific and patched CNW in my life.

I grew up along the NS Dayton District in Dayton, Ohio, and saw a plethora of ex-SP tunnel motors and SD45 rebuilds on Indiana and Ohio trackage rights trains that ran through town. In 2011, that all changed when I moved to El Paso, Texas. When I was out there from 2011-2014, I saw countless patched and unpatched SP/SSW units (again, one of them is used as a channel pic). GP40-2s, AC4400CW's, GP60's, and an occasional GP38-2 were what I usually saw.

Since I moved back east, I've seen just run of the mill shortline, CSX, NS, and Amtrak power in Georgia and North Carolina. Hopefully, I'll make it out west again soon before they're all gone forever! Trying to keep my fingers crossed!
I think that if you had the longest train I think that it could make from New York City All the way from the moon and back again and I wood like to see the happened maybe in the future from Gabrielle Rivas from Roslyn heights ny
Some nice trains and interesting locos, but: snapping stills camera in the background is really annoying. Also, constant long lens is too much and crossing bells get irritating. And how about small subtitles with date and location and train direction and line for each train? Can't believe you caught two trains with SP units on the point, F-Mex power and the beauty WP unit. This was all shot this year?
