I will never use Godo- wait Brackeys is back and is making godot tutorials ? Hold my beer Unity. I never even thought about switching to godot. But now I'm considering to switch.
Not sure I'd say he abandoned anything. Just happy he's doing well tbh. On topic it's likely because of the recent Wild Jam results - GJ's for GODOT has been exploding in the last few months. More Dev's than ever are now on Godot. The Unity bleed is now a quick one but it is bleeding out. Both new devs and old devs are starting or moving to different Engines than Unity and are further learning more heavily towards Godot than Unreal. To be fair there are a TON of Unreal games coming out, I've seen some people criticizing them for being "samey".
I respect your opinion, however I disagree. Godot is an open-source game engine that has gained popularity for its simplicity, lightweight nature, and ease of use. It's particularly well-suited for indie developers and smaller teams due to its low barrier to entry and the fact that it's free to use, even for commercial projects. Godot also has a dedicated community and is constantly improving with each update.
@@The_Cow Godot is great for 2D game development, however when it comes to 3D, its extremely bad, there are a lot of rendering issues and it lacks a lot of features which are needed for 3D development. Whereas unreal just works out of the box ( + has so many features). Godot 2D is great, however it still does lack features when compared to unity. Don't ya think so?
THIS IS A W FOR GODOT
A huge ONE🙌🏽
This is my sign to start godot
Hop on the Godot train 🚂 … I hope your journey turns out great
W for Godot but I already invested so much time learning the unreal engine. Hence can't come back to Godot.
I use both engine btw, Unreal is overkill for 2D games

Hmm, we respect your support for Unity.
Your free to support any engine you like.

I like godot engine, but.. if only the name and the logo is a bit cooler..
its way better than you name and profile.
Godot logo and name are fine.
More personality than Unity's.
@alexale5488 I agree
