I see many random comments here and people seem to forget what is most important. It was just one year after the Tsunami that devastated Japan and many artists had cancelled their shows. Paul made sure to go to Japan to help the country.
I have always loved Louise Armstrong’s rendition of this song and believed no one could sing it as well. I was wrong. I grew up in the 50s and fell in love with opera and Mario Lanza as a child. Thank you Mr. Potts for making me fall in love with it all over again. I know Mr. Armstrong is looking down from heaven at you and saying well done. God gave you a voice like that of one of his angels. Don’t ever loose your gratitude for that. He looks on humility as a virtue beyond compare.
