I remember watching him when I was a little kid, my grandparents would come over and stay up all night. Every time I hear this it brings me back to a better time in my life. Great memories Happy New Year to all 🎉🎊🥂
Whoa. This takes me back to family gatherings for New Years Eve . Count Basie broadcast from the Empire Room and then Guy Lombardo bringing in the new year from the Waldorf. Lots of family memories…
Wow, what a trip to know that era, remembering an era so long ago. Like a time machine spanning nearly 100 years. Damn I feel old now. I must be the caretaker. Lol
Awesome! I remember you uploading the audio of 1975 a long time ago. Now that you uploaded 1977, i ask this. Did you wind up getting audio/video of the 1975-76 NYE show?? I would love to hear/see it!
@@Tom-TV-vl4to oh of course it wasn’t in there I wonder if the person who uploaded that new year’s special has some of the other Guy Lombardo New Year’s Eve specials from the 1970s on Tape that he could upload I would like to see that

This was the last time Guy was there, He passed away November 5 1977, He Looked Good.
Ben Grauer also passed away in '77, on May 31.
What a class act he was, so calm & professional...
